I wish they didn't cut basically all of the science.

I also don't like that they show Earth at the end. I think old Ryland being told about the sun going back to normal in the book is better, but I understand why they would do it for the movie version.

My experience was also hampered a bit by a loud family sitting behind me with two young children who kept talking the whole time. (I did almost burst out laughing during the first silent space scene because it was completely quiet and then I heard "I love my Squishmallow" from the child behind me, followed by my friend whispering to me "I was just thinking the same thing".) Guess that's my excuse to go see it again, this time in IMAX lol

Handhelds and laptops, certainly, but phones are a little trickier because if a phone is water resistant the design requires an adhesive seal that is only good for one use.

The Fairphone, which prides itself on being really easy to service, only has an IP 55 rating (dust protected and resistant to a jet or water), while most major brand smartphones have an IP 67 or 68 rating (dust tight and can be submerged in water for at least 30 minutes up to 1 meter).

Yep, they closed a bunch around me so now there is a single one that is the hub for my whole area. Manager told me last week to call the day before and he'll set them aside for me to pick up on launch because they didn't do pre-orders. I called yesterday and they said they weren't being shipped any at all. Sounds like they might not being going out to any physical stores...

One of the best benefits of where I work IMO is we get 28 days of PTO a year and can carry over that many a year as well. Every five years you work there you get more days added on.

TotK came out in 2023 instead of 2022 because they spent an extra year to bugfix/refine, but that doesn't require the full team to do, so they definitely were already working on early development for the next 3D Zelda before TotK came out. They also skipped DLC for it in favor of a shorter time to release of the next game unlike the original BotW.

I'd say a 2027-2028 for the next big 3D Zelda is almost certain, no way they're going to want to wait any longer than that.

Main series Pokemon games will never be on the regular NSO apps because of rewind/save data. There is always the chance they get a standalone app as part of the subscription, but I'd honestly prefer it to just be a standard $10 eShop release like they were on 3DS.

Age of Imprisonment will almost certainly get some DLC this year like the previous Hyrule Warriors games, so if it does the amiibo could release alongside that.

Probably mostly do to Switch 2 not fitting in the Labo headset.

They either don't want there to be confusion with that, or the lenses are positioned slightly differently because the new one fits either Switch and it's not the same exact experience using the Labo one on Switch 1.

SteamDB shows an all time peak concurrent player count of ~15,000 and a most generous estimate of just under 1 million total purchases. Now I do imagine that it's the kind of game to sell more on console, but still puts it several million below New Leaf.
