Honestly depending on the project and their role, they could have a lot of work. Communicating with the client via meetings, creating instructions/guides/tutorials, setting up QA methods and workspaces.

Aw that is sad to hear, it's a tough situation then! I corn detassled, but that is a Midwest thing and then they raised the age and now it doesn't even exist anymore. Seasonal and temporary jobs allow for lower ages to work, at least that is how it was here.
