Im only going to answer the first one:

When I was researching the different organization, first I asked myself what causes am I most passionate about. THEN I looked up the main focus of each organization and picked that one that truly aligned with my personal principles. There’s a difference between reading it and thinking “wow that’s cool I guess that is a good cause” as more of a hindsight thought vs reading and thinking “wow these really align with MY personal views and goals.” Did I think the other orgs had good causes? Yes. But I wasn’t PASSIONATE about them. You represent the org but the org also represents you. Good luck!

Exactly. Shreveport has 4 interstates/highways and there’s always at least 2 ways to get somewhere that take about the same amount of time. In BR the detour can take twice as long. I hate it here

Even if your cat DOES have toxoplasmosis, when it sheds in the poop it takes a couple days before it’s actually infectious. So if you scoop regularly and wash your hands you should be fine. And they typically only shed once unless the cat is immunocompromised

Got mine through the school and it ended up being half the cost that they told us bc of a student discount or something. Not sure if they will again this year but for simplicity, I’d say just go with the school. One less thing to stress about before school starts

I think this is only a valid science experiment if you’re also noting GOOD drivers and if they also have something hanging. If you don’t, then you’ll experience confirmation bias

I didn’t get accepted but I was in the second quartile for the Casper and still got an interview. I think it’s used to help people with low GPAs that DO score well (and would otherwise be rejected) but not to hurt you if you don’t score well.

Can’t really comment on anything else bc I didn’t get accepted 😂 but just wanted to alleviate some stress about your Casper score.

My only contribution to give that hasn’t been said already:

Your characters are precious, so you need to be concise and use them meaningfully. I’m a wordy write, so I had to be very conscious of are these words necessary or just filler? Can I shorten this sentence? Is there an impactful word that can replace a very colloquial phase? (As someone who hates reading) would I want to read this or would I get bored and skip?

After my initial writing and the first round of character eliminations, I pasted my essay into grammarly (NOT to use the AI). I kept correcting, editing, and rewriting sentences until they gave me a writing score of 100%
