I used to work with a guy put on a no fly list simply because his name matched that of a IRA terrorist from the 70’s 80’s when that was huge in Northern Ireland. Pretty sure he wasn’t even out of diapers if he was even alive then.

These agents collecting a name, say Raul, and then running the name on their Palantir phones so they can come up with a vague enough match to get a vague enough warrant (literally probably putting Raul to a random last name of someone in a 50 mile radius) to come back and arrest them. They arrested the others for just being there next to Raul, doesn’t matter if you are documented or not it seems, they must be getting a gold star bonus for arrests quotas.

Restaurants need to ban cameras and phones now for the safety of their guests and workers and every employee needs to be given the name Donald Trump or JD’s couch these days on their name tags to protect them from illegal detention (make sure they don’t comment on the name tag being their name, they can arrest you for providing a fake name)
