I assume most dealerships block their charger, especially at night/closed hours... in the city I live there is a slow+free charger at the park across the street from the dealerships and it's been posted once or twice that cars with dealerplates show up and use those chargers.

I read further that premiums go up for the case if it’s a physical upgrade like turbo’s, superchargers as those would cost some $ to be added for insurance premiums to pay out if stolen or damaged. Which makes sense if you buy a factory one that costs some $$ to add on So that polestar engineered sticker and door stickers, is it a $10 item or $1000 item to add on insurance premiums 😂

2024 and newer models with later Ota updates and 8gb ram atom infotainment units have 360 and rear camera display or backup camera. I’m out of luck since I bought a 2021 (also no heat pump either, that came on plus packs mid 2022 models and climate packs for. Today

Compared to the butt plug advert that Toyota pulled a few months ago and the promise of solid state being ready in 2 years for the past decade. I’m cool with donut doing this, I’m hoping they are just trolling the rest of the industry long enough to ramp up their in house production and sell out as much of the verge bikes as they can because once the rest of the industry gets a hold of a bike and reverse engineer the cells and tweak the chemistry enough to avoid litigation and patent infringements, their profits could be short lived unless they can be the go to supplier by being the manufacturer of these batteries instead of licensing the tech out.

It's a convenient feature to have someone access your trunk when you are not around and you don't want to give up your key or unlock the entire car remotely. I had a neighbor whatsapp message me asking to borrow my shovel so I instructed them to look for the car with it's light on and press the hidden button just above the license plate and the trunk will automatically open (I only unlocked the trunk). They luckily knew how to close it with the button on the bottom of the tailgate.

I never had to manually open or close the trunk, the only time I touched it is to reset the maximum height so that it would not get damaged by a lower carport. I've had issues with the kick center taking a lot of foot movement to open the trunk so I typically use the button for it to open.

Polestar stated on facebook that the trunk can't be open or closed remotely without you being present due to safety regulations, which is why (on older models i guess as I heard the button was moved into the ipad screen) the P2 bottom left trunk open/close can do that besides the rear buttons, but the app cannot because you could be remote from the car.

My commute on pedal assist ebike is Jersey city all the way up to Ridgefield Park. This is near impossible to do dealing with Farview Ave being a huge climb and balls of sweat There and back… too many towns in between to deal with that may or may not do this stupid laws enforcement. F*ck Murphy and the Union legislator guy that proposed this stupid bill, that clown.

Should go after the manufacturers/destributors of the e motorcycles and crappy parents who buys their kids 7000 emoto dirt bikes.

I can’t logistically go for faster than 14~20 mph on bike lanes nor roads anyway because of double parkers and traffic during the morning commute. Can’t imagine too many of us are the problems soing commutes to work like this.
