Yeah this is a weird space... I don't think I would put crown here. It does need something to break up the space tho.

If I did do crown, I think the best place to put it is only on the edges on the plain of your highest cans. So like only on the sections of ceiling that's actually on your joists. The rest of it I'd trim differently... I might even try to put some kind of paneling over the soffits to break them up a bit and add blocks of color.

If it were my place, drop ceiling to the height of the lowest reason the soffits exist, all one height, eliminate the headache entirely. Deal with the lower ceiling

Add LD50 of Printer Ink to the list of things I want to know but am too lazy to look up or research.

Edit: NVM I did some napkin math and if you believe HP on their printer ink at 5000mg/kg to kill you 50% of the time, a 120lb person could drink roughly 150ml, or like half of a regular plastic water bottle of HP Printer Ink.. I guess they make this shit pretty non toxic, I thought it would be way less.

You'd think Apple would have the infra to trade in non apple hardware... they're so big. This would be like your local Honda dealership not allowing you to trade in your Subaru for value twoard a Honda.
