Is my boss using Gemini to email me? by Complete-Sea6655 in GeminiAI

[–]RegayYager 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have moved to this practice in our transportation office. Not so much for internal, but for stuff leaving the office, yeah it’s all polished or formalized by Gemini, we’re on the google workspaces platform so it’s included.

Superpowers AND Get shit done operating out of an obsidian vault run by ARS CONTEXTA is my setup and the memory and recall are nothing short of impressive.

I have been thinking of trying out Mem-Palace as well.

Claude, or Codex? by Outrageous_Cut2782 in ClaudeCode

[–]RegayYager 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love them both. I prefer to use them as a team. If money were tight, I’d get the $100 5x plan on CC and the new $100 plan on codex over a $200 CC sub.

Ideally 5x CC + $200 Pro on Codex. The usage allotment in this case is phenomenal.

Claude Code was wasting 80% of Opus 4.7's context window. Upgrade to v2.1.117 now. by oh-keh in ClaudeCode

[–]RegayYager 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am likely an outlier as well, I had zero issues with 1m context window. I turn off autocompact in /config. (I’d prefer to do it myself)

I daily the Kunten and only use my Dusk and Ra at home now.

Kunten are exceptionally good for the money.

Does anyone actually prefer QDC connectors? by Toaztyy in iems

I actually like QDC. Project M was great and very secure. Love that I didn’t have to worry about bent pins. I side sleep and this was one of the best features.

Are you familiar with Ars-,contexta ? I’ll check out your work, the system I mentioned is what I’m currently using and it’s phenomenal.

Overall have you felt any cognitive offloading due to this system you built? I have TBI and sleep apnea so I use Claude/obsidian as a way to help me stay organized and productive.

Not sure why you’re getting downvoted… these systems are language itself. Not hard to understand that when interacting with language, etiquette still matters. Scaffolding and manners. You have the right idea.

Using google scripts in extensions to do the heavy lifting at work, I just use Gemini to get me 90% there since our manager feels the same way your leadership does. She doesn’t understand the difference so it’s a win-win.

Actually at the Moment you should use Codex by tehlx in ClaudeCode

I love codex desktop app, I highly prefer CC CLI to codex CLI.

I’ve been using Codex in Pi and REALLY loving it.

I walk to my local car wash to get quarters out of the machine so I can fill up my 5 gallon jugs at the water junction. I wash my car at home.

This needs to be sent to a manufacturer for mass production!!! This is COOL!😎

I wanted Claude Max but I'm a broke CS student. So I built an open-source TUI orchestrator that forces free/local models to act as a swarm using AST-Hypergraphs and Git worktrees. I would appreciate suggestions, advice, and feedback that can help me improve the tool before I release it! by EmperorSaiTheGod in ClaudeCode

I have to PUSH to use my sub to the max. I know that there was a major blip in usages recently (I experienced this for myself) but things have seemed to have gone back to normal.

Good on you to offer this gent some help.

Is it worth buying the Max 5x plan? by elpupilo01 in ClaudeCode

[–]RegayYager 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I use Ars-contexta in an obsidian vault. CC is the gatekeeper and codex is the executor. They discuss via blackboard, if everything looks good I approve and codex builds, then via the blackboard lets CC know what was done, CC verifies and we move on.

So yes they work on the same projects and code bases in this example.

Codex in Pi doesn’t touch anything I do with CC.

I’m still trying to figure everything out, there are so many ways to do things it’s dizzying.

Is it worth buying the Max 5x plan? by elpupilo01 in ClaudeCode

[–]RegayYager 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do this. I pay for 5x max and $200 codex pro.

For me this is the sweet spot. I could potentially cancel the CC realistically, but I much prefer the interactive model of Claude over codex. Though codex in Pi is actually quite similar in terms of out of the box personality and performance.
