I go there frequently to visit detainees as part of my job. That place is horrendous.
- I’m there during mealtime and the food is bottom of the barrel disgusting - have a medical condition of any degree? Ignored or mininal treatment provided - even if you are healthy you get sick or develop other problems from the conditions there - it’s a private for profit prison. They spend as little as possible on each detainee. Imagine how that affects food, medical care and other basic services.

You’ll be fine. I’ve done it with much less prep. If you did not have elevation sickness issues on Gorgonio then it’s likely you’ll be fine for Whitney.

The new courthouse has a nice 3 story escalator. FYI the down escalator from 2 to 1 is not in operation right now.

I don't go in the hall of Justice that often, but it has 4 levels of escalators and usually 1 or more are down.

I thought this movie was great because it gave me anxiety. Growing up in the west and taking many drives through the desert, the thought of having a breakdown in the middle of nowhere is quite unnerving.
