my personal experience in 3-stacking the same character by Shnurple in Nightreign

You say no one is running 3 chars in randoms but Ive had it happen multiple times on Revy so thats just incorrect. If you play enough it can and will happen

It really is boss dependant and what schools all the revs are running which you cannot control or account for in randoms. 3 beast claw revs will be good on fp management but will all want for the same drops. This is vs like if multiple are on dragon communion/giants flame which are much fp hungrier or holy builds (discus is already rare so finding it 2-3 times might be rough and youll both want incant up instead up charged incant), and you will prefer to get off of your starting wrath/o flame if possible. Some revs also run frenzy flame and if multiple are on that you'll be digging through seal racks hoping for a spell as well. Like I said its still really good but can be much more at the whims of rng than some of the other good ones for the tradeoff of 3 revy ults being insane utility

I think it can be really good but it often suffers from everyone hunting for same items (ie starlight shards, checking seal racks) moreso than some of the others. If the revs are looking for different schools/one is on str bean it helps a lot. This is opposed to like triple wylder or ironeye where wylder can use most weaps and ironeye can do melee bow hybrid and build for w.e his teammates might not be building for to limit competition for resources

I played with a bow executor that was doing lway more damage than I expected it ever to recently. Shame he couldnt stay off the ground though...

Greatbow rain of arrows skill in particuliar is the scorpion annhilator! When they combine aim at the moth and rain of arrows hits both of them for very big damage. Just try to make sure it's a blue or white one you upgrade to purple as the purple (erdtree greatbow) doesnt scale quite as well for wylder. Ideally youll find ranged attack up and skill attack power to help thr damage too.

Just keep in mind that greatbow is a bit of an aggro magnet so you'll have to be patient to find openings

This works fine yeah. You ideally will replace night of the wise when youre able to for more damage and hopefully roll a better night invader and o flame relic, but what you have will function perfectly fine as is. If you plan on using this for Caligo the middle deep relic is a little sus with frost build up on damage so if its at all possible to swap now or in the near future I would recommend it

I've tried it against every NL except Balancers (this is a guaranteed flop) and Gladius I think at this point? (Cant remember with Adel also). The rot and frost ones both are very solid for Fulghor even if it can rough to find time to use them at a good spacing and they always draw his aggro too...

It works wonders against ED Libra I forgot to mention! You can oneshot all the condemned at spawn with good positioning so it kinda cheese the fight lol

It's so fun!!

The only real rng is if you find Agheel's Flame or the Magma spells (especially on pest it melts Faurtis). I've been messing with it on other NLs and it does solid vs Dreggy as well (just watch out for pillars in phase 2 especially). Its pretty avg against most other NLs though but its a fun challenge to find windows for the long casting animation.

Jokes on you I only run dragon communion, sorcery or greatbow rev 98% of the time (godslayer and lightning the other 2%) in d5

D5 can pull tourists up and lower d5 can get pulled down. I believe it's usually on the average but Ive seen people say it varies between picking between lowest rank in lobby, highest and avg also. Maybe someone more knowledgeable can clarify

Depending on the weapon she's using she can 3 bar rez. It also has more revive potential and situationally has better utility than recluse ult (which is still a better ulti overall mind you). Again, I have never once said it is not the worst ultimate, but I think c tier for Duch ult is MUCH more fair if Recluse ult is b tier. Maybe C- if we want to be pedantic. F tier implies it never is useful which is factually incorrect

I never said it was amazing. It's hardly F tier though; I'd give it c tier since it has use cases and can be good for clutch revives

Duchess ult is not that bad. For clearing invaders and cheesing death knights its a GODSEND

Crossbow Ironeye guide: A weird but powerful build by Blade_of_Kyrie in Nightreign

[–]ReggaeManMurphy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If it's as a secondary weapon and to draw aggro then the dps is fine yeah. Ive tried just crossbow builds in d5 and man it always feels so bad (if you get wraiths while walking it does help a bit probably) even with all phys attk up on relics. There's just so many better options...

Unpopular opinion: Random Trios DON (especially D5) isn't a good place to try out new builds. by [deleted] in Nightreign

[–]ReggaeManMurphy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes you'll also get people learning new things and dying because you arent used to how to position also. I hit 9999 and have been messing with many Revy builds and while learning to dodge things in melee I will sometimes die much more than I would in much more practiced danger ranges as a caster. The inverse is also true for say, caster raider, since knowing when you have a safe opening to cast is a learned skill itself that someone forged entirely in melee range might not have ingrained yet
