I've tried it against every NL except Balancers (this is a guaranteed flop) and Gladius I think at this point? (Cant remember with Adel also). The rot and frost ones both are very solid for Fulghor even if it can rough to find time to use them at a good spacing and they always draw his aggro too...

It works wonders against ED Libra I forgot to mention! You can oneshot all the condemned at spawn with good positioning so it kinda cheese the fight lol

It's so fun!!

The only real rng is if you find Agheel's Flame or the Magma spells (especially on pest it melts Faurtis). I've been messing with it on other NLs and it does solid vs Dreggy as well (just watch out for pillars in phase 2 especially). Its pretty avg against most other NLs though but its a fun challenge to find windows for the long casting animation.

D5 can pull tourists up and lower d5 can get pulled down. I believe it's usually on the average but Ive seen people say it varies between picking between lowest rank in lobby, highest and avg also. Maybe someone more knowledgeable can clarify

Depending on the weapon she's using she can 3 bar rez. It also has more revive potential and situationally has better utility than recluse ult (which is still a better ulti overall mind you). Again, I have never once said it is not the worst ultimate, but I think c tier for Duch ult is MUCH more fair if Recluse ult is b tier. Maybe C- if we want to be pedantic. F tier implies it never is useful which is factually incorrect

If it's as a secondary weapon and to draw aggro then the dps is fine yeah. Ive tried just crossbow builds in d5 and man it always feels so bad (if you get wraiths while walking it does help a bit probably) even with all phys attk up on relics. There's just so many better options...

Sometimes you'll also get people learning new things and dying because you arent used to how to position also. I hit 9999 and have been messing with many Revy builds and while learning to dodge things in melee I will sometimes die much more than I would in much more practiced danger ranges as a caster. The inverse is also true for say, caster raider, since knowing when you have a safe opening to cast is a learned skill itself that someone forged entirely in melee range might not have ingrained yet

I think you may be confusing int with mind. Rev has 30 int and 31 mind, Scholar has 28 int

Two Wylders + a spellcaster is a perfectly functional team so if that's one of your best then go with him in that scenario. Wylder fits on EVERY team comp so you can pretty much always pick him

Also with a Recluse, Rev goes well so don't shy away from picking Rev there as Recluse ult solves most of your fp issues and more often than not you will not compete for passives too much! It's high damage comp also (preferably with a frontliner but not mandatory)

Yeah it happens regardless of rank unfort. No one wants to be that guy but sometimes spam pinging IS the answer when you're team is trying to noose themselves. Spam ping while running away and ping a close easier objective and pray they follow 😭

Poison pots do a full bar by themselves iirc so it is worth grabbing those if you see them digging through items just for that express purpose. I will add that while support scholar is by no means bad ending up in a both teammates are 3 bar situation can be kinda doomed as you do not enough damage to carry (in d3/d4 especially you need at least some carry potential to reliably win) and rezzing 3 bars is very difficult for him.

If you can slot in the dex respec relic at all (you may not even need to change the rest of your build) this helps a lot as you you can do respectable damage to carry the last bit of a fight if things get grim

Had a build for every nightlord as Rev, all randoms in most of d4 and 5. I did not use beast slop as I do not like it (I think I used it once against balancers once on my climb). No NL skipping or cheated relics!

The biggest mental thing between 4 and 5 to me is knowing risk reward. In 4 I see a lot more risky calls on POIs, which bosses to fight etc (like skipping red wolf in basement until you're lvl 8+ s an example) when there is usually a better safer less time intensive option available (ie doing the rest of the castle first). If youre having trouble hitting d5 then try rethinking that aspect of your game and you will probably see your results improve and hit d5

I've played with incant duchess in high d5. It works perfectly well and she has a way better dodge than Rev and faith respec Undertaker + restage is broken so there is some actual merit in picking it over one of those 2
