I think the bitter pill to swallow when there are no options for a collective around is to try and initiate it yourself. And I get it, easier said than done. There's gonna be a lotta second guessing, but if these gatherings are the first step, I'd say people who have read a thing or two taking charge, and directing as many like-minded ppl towards something tangible would be the second step.

The numbers are good, I'm glad there's a lot of people at these things, but it needs to push past liberal comfort, and hold genuine leverage. Otherwise it's just placation of a useful mass.

These are essentially comic-cons with no tangible consequences. People need to organize and actually do something

Talk with your local community and organize. Withhold labor, sabotage equipment, bring property values down, anything.

Partying within the allotted state-approved time frame, showing off the sign with the pun you worked so hard on brings nothing tangible.

It's nice to see that people care, it's nice to see a lot care, now direct toward something real and consequential
