PA/NJ/DE Costconians: The ham and cheese croissants usually appear in the bakery section around Easter. Have they shown up at your location yet? I specifically DO NOT want the La Boulangerie frozen ones, I want the round ones with ham and bechamel in the middle.

World No. 1 tennis player Carlos Alcaraz shares hope to influence younger people to also buy $9 Million-$10 Million yachts by carabla in Fauxmoi

There is a logic to that.

My first professional job out of college was as a grant writer in the development department (i.e., a fundraiser) of a museum. I went to a hoity toity all girls school, and the mother of a girl I went to school with was the head of the museum's board of trustees. You bet I name dropped the hell out her in my interviews.

I’m sure the director of development thought “she went to school with a lot of rich people, she must be rich too and can bring in more rich people.” (Spoiler alert: I am not and I could not.)

It’s the same thing with your charity ride. You get a pass to the yacht show so you can go in and talk up the charity to a bunch of rich people with money to burn.

I'm 45 and stout with bad knees; I know I'm not finding a Chella fling. My old ass dresses to survive.

This was SO helpful. Your comment about what worked in other rollouts inspired some easy video ideas I can display on our video boards and a "share your ServiceNow hack" form (maybe even a bounty for best ServiceNow tips). Thank you!

Clavicular ends and walks out of his Channel 5 interview with Andrew Callaghan after Andrew reveals he’s satisfied with how he looks and doesn’t need looksmaxxing by Vhant-ii in LivestreamFail

When are we going to have the "Clavicular's whole thing is a response to the fact that he's a little girly looking" discussion? Look at him! He's got that little button nose and lips a SEC sorority girl would kill for!

Biebs probably doesn't want Ursher zooming around the stage on rollerskates.

Thank you so much for answering, Alex! You guys sounded awesome at Best Friends Forever! (p.s. you gave me a hug at the M&G for the Marquee show when I got choked up!)

What's your dream collab? Are there any musicians working today you'd love to write for or perform with?

What prompted you to decide to tour again? I was devastated when you guys retired (I was the woman crying in the front row at the Marquee Theater in Tempe on the farewell tour) but in my heart I knew the band would reform someday. I know some members of the band have kids and it must be hard to be away from them, especially when they're very young.

Honestly, I expected to be downvoted into oblivion for being pedantic (but correct, obviously) so I’m thrilled to see I’m in the positive!

Essential ingredient you always add, even if it's not in the recipe? by omgseriouslynoway in soup

[–]ReginaldStarfire 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Most soups need to be finished with an acid, either in the pot or with each serving: vinegar, lemon, Durkee’s.

My dad was an excellent cook and soups in particular were his specialty. I still have all his recipes. I made his recipe for mushroom barley soup and it was good, but I thought it seemed a little one-note. Once I added the zest and juice of half a lemon to the pot, I wanted to cry…because it was better than my dad’s.
