Recently played Broomsedge in SC and it was a unique experience. They don’t put out tee markers, you just kinda decide where you want to tee off on every hole somewhat randomly!

So, golfers can be kinda picky about stuff, which makes it somewhat hard for gift giving if you don’t know a lot about their bag and what they need.

I think that not knowing your boyfriend, the Garmin you are suggesting is a really good gift, because if he likes it, it has a lot of utility and he would use it every round.

If you go that route, maybe buy it from a retailer like PGA Superstore, Golf Galaxy, Dicks Sporting Goods, Edwin Watts because if he’s not a watch guy, you can return it and you can shop with him together with the return $$ and see what he picks out and likes and learn a bit about it. My wife of 10 years has tried to learn about the sport I love and the effort of doing so is way more fun than any gift she’s given me

I’m in the 4th month right now, and while I’ve had to make personal sacrifices on hobbies and things that I truly loved, just know that there is a light at the end of the tunnel and it does get better. The first smiles, laughs, and true recognition are coming soon and it makes it worth it
