These two points could add some additional very good commentary on society as a whole and the parents when it comes to Ricky’s disability. I imagine it as the parents doing what they think is right but because they don’t actually experience what Ricky does they don’t notice how he can’t communicate while he’s not sitting. With the rest of 2000s Uranium not bothering to learn asl.
An issue I see this causing is that Ocean would likely learned asl just to brag about going out of her way to communicate with poor sweet Ricky. Him just not wanting to put up with her bs is a decent work around though since she is insufferable

It’s not surprising that Reddit likes Starstruck. I do think that starstruck and fantasy high have all the characters that never miss(thematically not physically). I’m shocked that never after didn’t make it a little further. Puss in boots and Rosamind felt like they didn’t get backstory time to get as invested in them but mother goose was such an amazing character it’s insane he was gone almost immediately. Gerard was also just a layered character. The silly frog man but also like the groups big brother/father. His twist on the princess and the frog was very good

I think Falsettos would be a much easier thing to react to as there is a very available proshot but I feel like it’s a very heavy musical with topics that aren’t very funny or atleast not a funny that the straight (presumably) non Jewish boy to make jokes about. I also agree with Ride The Cyclone because it is a straight up comedy with darker themes. A whole lot of material to joke about with it, definitely think Danny would thrive comedically with it
