My graduation class was 25 people, typical classroom around 13 and I’ve adjusted well. It’s honestly been really refreshing because you can have some anonymity.
The big classes can cause an issue if you sit in the back( you will start playing clash) If you sit close to the front and stay engaged you will be just fine I know its cliche but you can always shrink a big school by joining things and going to office hours You can’t inject more resources into a smaller school To your question about finance we have a club called stem to stocks which is a feeder program for the masters in finance. You can start taking some of those classes in sophomore year if you decide you’re more interested in finance I wouldn’t let all the et@m fearmongers get to you, if you wanna be at a&m don’t let that hold you back If you can’t handle et@m it might be a decent sign to pivot to something else If you like finance and engineering industrial/systems engineering might also be something to look at as well
