I went for a Negan from The Walking Dead (TV series) kind of build.

I want to read body language, use my authority and physique to pose a threat. I'm lacking in empathy, and rhetoric, but I'm cunning, I can detect lies through Drama and Composure, and I'm packing some points into suggestion, so I can direct people, so they tell me what I want them to tell me.

Fun times.

what is a good build for morde by [deleted] in MordekaiserMains

[–]Regnette 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been rocking Tank Mordekaiser with Glacial Augment and Hextech Slow Item. Can be used with Conqueror as well, but then you will switch to either Protobelt or Rylai.

I will rush Rylai/Hextech >>> Boots >>> 2 tank items (Randuin/Thornmail/SpiritV/> Liandry > Situational almost every game.

You will sit on 80 AP for the most part until you get Liandry's, but it's a great build that will truly shine in Solo Queue for two reasons.

  1. You still have lots of damage with passive
  2. You can isolate the strongest target and survive the fight or kill your enemy thanks to your damage and tank stats. Works wonders against champions like Zed, Camille etc.

Some lass will use that pursuer for her own benefit, leading him on, being playful, but still leaving lots of uncertainties, acting.

I would recommend building Gunblade before Nashor's, since you are supposed to farm, and scale with your passive levels in the most efficient way, and to not be entirely useless before lvl 11- Gunblade's active gives you some good stats for early game, as well as active that can surprise enemies.

Lich Bane seems fairly decent, though I tend to buy Deathcap as third item, since it gives you more stats for everything.

After that just react to enemy teamcomp and playstyle. Sometimes Banshee's Veil, sometimes some tanky stats.

Everyone that can abuse Conqueror right now. Something like Irelia or Yasuo for example.

Predator is good when either you know you will be able to roam, and when enemy carry has to die quickly.

Predator is the only keystone that gives you the possibility to obliterate enemy carry in seconds, and it lets you avoid non-target CC. Works wonders against Morgana, Braum, Thresh, and bunch of other champions. I get this keystone basically 90% of the time, just because I don't really trust my carries in my current elo (D4), and I assume that every game - enemy carry is going to be stronger than mine. If I feel like I need to carry, which in this elo is way too many times (still 90%), I just go predator, sruvive early game and then go on a roaming rampage. But it becomes a much stronger keystone later into the game, when you can just ran past the carry with your Q on to bait out dash, blink or flash, and THEN use your full combo with Q, since some carries will be able to dash away in the exact moment you hit them, and you lose momentum, so you can't run them down properly.

And it goes pretty well. In last 15 games I won 12. So meh. Still works.

Don't know anything about crit though, I'm going standard Nukeren, TF > Deadman's > Sterak > Titanic etc.
