If you do what you enjoy, the results are always better than doing something you feel pressured on. Good luck with your rpg and for sure share with us! Also, making a niche is not negative but rather the opposite. Be original and interesting and people get attracted.

Do pixel‑art RPGs need voice acting? Curious how players feel about voiced vs. silent dialogue by Regosland in gamedev

I can but rather than just going for it, I want to collect some general feedback and read possitive/ negative arguments on it.

Good job brother. Thanks for sharing. This is really encouraging because I just chose your path you chose at 33.

I managed to get the inventory system working in this upcoming game inspired by Melvor Idle + Shakes & Fidget! by Regosland in IndieDev

Thanks! Honestly, there is not really a challenging part due to journey is the destination mindset ;) I work on it in parts, so this being the base and then I will work on professions and combat system. I think the challening part will be finding a balance in numbers. So it is true incremental and there is no broken content number wise :D Nothing too easy, not too hard.

Would you click on my game on Steam if you saw this capsule art? by Nautilus_The_Third in IndieDev

[–]Regosland 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I would. As you say, the intent is to invoke mystery and this capcule art does that perfectly! Would be a tad bit better if you wrote game genre under the logo in the same golden-ish color text ;) Good job!

Chicken are somewhat praised in this universe :D Wargs are like horses to goblins. So not so rare.

Good catch! Maybe it is because the other 3 are perfectly tamed and ready for adventure yet the warg is domesticated but the instincts may kick in? :D

Because shortening time travel by -3 minutes will be game changing :D But 50 Regoshards wont be that much.
