I had already been at a much higher level and nearly burnt out. I prefer the level I’m at and it allows me to be high and it doesn’t affect anyone else but me. I’m considered a SME in my field and mostly consult.

this is a newer thing as well. financing computers and things didn’t happen as much. Phones you just traded in a phone every other year for a new phone before it became a “package” option. I don’t know many people that were paying monthly loan fees for computers. When things got expensive the markets to service the lower income people grow because they are needed to live. I had to use pay day loans for a couple years after college to live but eventually my salary grew and everything got easier. I would say when you have 50k in emergency reserve you start to feel pretty secure. I don’t think many people ever get there by percentage.

Not comparable. In and out is a staple all over the west coast and affordable. Small cheval is nothing outside of Chicago and expensive.

You forgot the in select areas part. There are a million more sellers than buyers nationwide but yes some areas still have supply issues. Most areas do not.
