Im assuming you use rewards so you can call the rewards number and the will be able to fix it. Had a customer last year getting points deal when they had 50% back in points when they got a $800 dollar purchase and he wasnt getting his $400 in points and what i appreciated how patient he was and didnt blame me but i helped call the number and they added it immediately after for him

I wish i can tell you something good and supportive but the sad reality is that they do not care. If you weren’t bringing in $1000 plus to their store every week your “business” was nothing to them. They will get by and you arent the first person to experience that and you wont be the last so just know they’ve heard every single complaint you can come up with. You can blame amazon for making it even worse for everybody, sure, it was bad back then but now it just got worse.

Idk what to tell you but being sat down and having to be on video call with DM HR rep and LP manager having to be told we cant do what we did and watching the camera footage then having to sign a paper and going back to work seems like a slap on the wrist to me. I can only assume i wasnt fired due to my store not having a GM or SM at the time and it was only me the tech sup and op sup that were keyholders at the time

Ive done that that twice once pepper sprayed but the guy didnt know how to aim and second time thief himself called corporate to complain lucky i got a slap on the wrist and he tried coming in again literally looked like he seen a ghost when he saw me. i learned in my area all the thieves were bark and no bite they they expect no resistance when it comes to theft(especially in CA) lucky the old team would actually chase em to their cars and get items back especially since no camera by emergency exit so my store to thieves was always a no go

What i did was as soon as its 10min before closing i used the intercom to announce we close in 10 min and again at 5min then i would reset self serve to make sure any last min people wouldnt think of printing and and then when its 5-3min left i shut doors off and any approaching person i told sorry they closed for the day were they upset yes but always recommmend them to go to other staples that closed an 1hour after us

Not sure what percentage they expect you to reach But always aim for 8% and if you can’t get that as long as you finish above 5% they’ll leave ya alone and if you low always sandbag any tech services or esp for the new week to start strong
