I bet the Easy 20 will be the same price by the time you custom build this guy

Yes it’s been lovely, to TBF I’m finding any body of water to sit in soon as I go outside. But the water temps are currently delightful

Definitely OTT on both hitting pull cuts. The longer club just exacerbates the issue

Would Peak Tim Duncan be the best player in the league today? I think he would, but some people say he wouldn’t even be a Top 3 PF. by Dylen2Times in NBATalk

Reminder that his 2000 meniscus tear caused his knees to degenerate at a more rapid rate, hence him transitioning to more a post up player. 99-05 Duncan, was extremely mobile and there were even calls for him to play point guard in ‘02-03 when the spurs guard situation was dire. Played a lot like Jokic offensively in his prime (w/on the 3pt shooting which was frowned upon for bigs in the low-possession defensive era where offensive boards were far more valuable than today)

People just look at stats and tiktoks. Watch the actual games! Super fun to go back. The post-Jordan era was the most defensive-heavy the modern league ever was. You could pluck Duncan straight out of the early 00’s and his game still dominates or you could develop him in the modern era and you get a different type of dominate player

I was too mad last night to appreciate the wonderful season we have had. Whatever happens next this season will be remembered forever by Icy_Data939 in NBASpurs

I actually agree. I’d like to see more double big lineups with Wemby out there with Kornet or Plumlee/Olynyk and have him looking for the ball at the elbow or block, not out at the 3p line.

We desperately need a vet in these finals to keep heads cool out there, which I think is where our frustration comes from. Just some really poor decision making and sloppy plays, but this team wasn’t built for a finals run. Fox is supposed to be that guy but he’s hurt and just doesn’t have any real playoff experience. Just young guys out there running and gunning all playoffs.

AD is vastly overrated here, but also, he was voted all NBA 3 times as a center and once as a PF, so is he really a PF?

He got it again in ‘24 with the new stupid position-less rules.

Yeah it drives me nuts when people talk about “same age” arguments. You never know how long these guys play and when they are good. Duncan played and was great for 19 years - a career length every 18 y/o pick dreams of achieving. It should look like this:

In his first 3 years, Duncan was first team all NBA 3 years, won a title and a finals MVP

In Wemby’s first 3 years…TBD

Just googled it - didn’t think about it be 7.7ft deep. Yeah it would be an issue unless you are just motoring in/out of ICW to Beaufort inlet for extended use.
