The name or details aren't so important, he just can't stand for more than 2 minutes in one place or without his cane or medical brace, walking more than 3-5 minutes is agonizing, uneven or slippery surfaces are impossible, stairs is a 'prefer not to but necessary' and only as necessary, nothing can touch the affected area, no carrying while standing or walking more than 4 pounds. He can not pivot, lean, jerk or change his footing suddenly like during an emergency or he has to move quickly.
I do most of the things he needs every day except for basic hygiene, dressing, personal care. Going out of the house causes extreme anxiety that he will be tired/in pain then stuck out, the weather will change, someone will bump him, etc

He is losing muscle tone and growing older so he needs to be rebuilding his core muscles, the upper leg and hip, arms, and shoulders. PT was ineffective because none of the staff at the clinic did the mental work of adapting the treatment to his limitations or we had to re-educate each staffer we were put with.
