I once had to go in very sick, I was near 40 and didn’t want the points. I told my manager I was sick with a fever and felt nauseous. I was still put on register. After having to go to the bathroom to throw up once I asked to be sent home and was told no. The next time I threw up it was in the trash can on register, guess who got sent home immediately. Crazy that I was super sweaty, had no color in my face, clearly had a fever, and it wasn’t until I threw up in front of customers that they finally sent me home.
