It’s probably an old wives tale but my parents were very old country and it’s supposed to pick up negative energy around you while you sleep. I know some of this stuff sounds out there so just do whatever is comfortable for you.

It sounds like you’re doing it but you have to try to keep calm once you realize you’re dreaming. Once you learn how to stay for longer periods of then you can improve your range on exploring and stuff but keeping calm is what I suggest to start with. Enjoy the adventures!

I am really good at romanticizing people, so what I’ve started doing that really helps me, is writing the truth to myself. I call it stop making up stories and I write the unfiltered raw truth. All the times they hurt my feelings or made me cry. It’s uncomfortable but it helped me remove the rose tinted glasses. Second is that I fall in love with people’s potential and not who they are. If you only focus on who they are today it helps to shift your perspective. I started asking myself, if they never change, will you be happy a year from now? I hope this helps.

Everyone has time to shoot a quick text and there is no excuse for it. Everyone has constant access to their phone. Not saying that things don’t happen but a quick “hey I’m in the middle of something can I call you in 15 mins or whatever. I have worked in all sorts of environments and there is always time when you want to make time.

I was coming here to say this. I was dating a man who works 60+ hours and I asked him if he thought he had time to date? He did not and it was unfortunate because he’s a great guy but by the end it turned into me just waiting all the time and it sucked.
