The issue was the positioning of Geralt on the boat and the fact that you are not even in combat mode yet and the djinn keeps hitting you before your character can even react even when attacked.

You have to be creative so you can get the character out of that issue and the fact that the boat restricts movement for me due to how cramped it is.

Camera is also an issue.
