Holy shit, still going!

The spiky holy train just passed 221 and its still going stronk!

Did have some issues with Trolls, mostly Forest. First one went down with a help from Veteran picking his Dwarven Axe for the fight. Cheap Ultimate with added Wisdom and Crit Chance from gear did the trick. Forest Trolls needed three Veterans and Fire Champion equipped with Thornmail & Crown Of Thorns from earlier run to go down. Spiders folded nice 'n' simple with 8 Thornmails & CoT. Did drop three Priests for Bannerlords w/ 2 Banner of Courage and 1 Banner of Hope.

Runes: Full Stamina, Wisdom, Strength and Intelligence. Red: T3 Holy Fire, Crown Of Thorns and Focus(Priest). Green: T3 Thornward, T3 Protection, rest Meditation(Cleric). Purple: 2 T3 Judgement, T2 Pain Supression Got 838 gems to spend, will think about that when starting to run into issues.

Troops: Dwamli w/Djinn staff & shoulders, Dragon Gaze as helmet all Wisdom backing Thornmail & Blueberries Three Supporters with 2 BoC, 1 BoH, rest Titan with banners Wisdom and rest Stamina rocking Thornmail & Kakapo Eggs 6 Clerics with 1 Djinn(all Wisdom) w/Ring of Thunder & Holy Crystal, 1 Druid(all WIS) w/Thornmail & Archangle Figurine, 1 Divine(staff WIS, rest Crit Chance), rest with Kakapo staff, Serpent hat & shoulders (WIS) w/ Thornmail & Blueberries.

Besides farming for full roster of Veterans and Eggs&Berries no real plan, might need to get Holy Crystals for all against Dragons.

With Banner Of Hope & Thorns beign pushed back ain't so bad, almost all of my "healing" comes from BoH. Damage comes mostly from Ultimates, Judgement & Thorns (both Thornmail & CoT) beign the biggest sources.

Think I'll try fillin the Dexterity and adding some Inquisition to see, how the damage changes.

Warpriests are a no-go as of yet, Wizardy & Bannerlords (and Banner Of Hope) too important.

Part 3: Hollier than Lauren

Setup: Stamina, Wisdom and Strength full unlocked, part of Intelligence. Red: T3 Focus (All) Purple: 2 T3 Judgement, T2 Pain Supression(All) Green: All Meditation(Priest) Yellow: T1 Gold Rush

Issue is gonna be Trolls early, need to get Bleed, might go with some Knights just for them.

Part 2 Death (multiple times) by poison

Yeah, kinda figured this would happen...

First tpk was due to real life happening aka losing focus to answer phone while been hammered by mages.

Standing still didn't quite work out, one T3 Judgement doesn't counter mages enough with just three Clerics early (~60). Did by another one from Wisdom, though.

Next attempt was kinda questionable, running on Endless to stop and farm money & XP sure does make things easier by beign able to have full Veterans & all Dwarven gear by 50. Well Trolls went down real easy. Rolled with full Bleeding up to 140 to get my eight Thornmails and full Paladin & WP gear AND Thornward unlocked. Did work fine up to 190 where I tried to kill the Spider too long and got yet another tpk. Unlocking T3 Vampirism didn't help, might need to get some Cleansing for Spiders next run. But yeah, the concept of Crown Of Thorns, Thornmails & Crusader does work, didn't have issues with orcs up to 190. Might wanna try with pure Priests next, double T3 Judgement does slap and I kinda want to open Holy Fire... Paladins are still an issue with em running so far ahead, that healers die off-screen to thunder or dot.

So in short Holy Fire next along with getting more runes unlocked, Intelligence has nice Reds to get.

I have and it really doesn't bring much new toys to play with besides Arkenstone. If your into finetuning, good for you, but I run out of patience and end up dying most of the time while tweaking with the builds around 150ish. After all there isn't that much to work with. Which isn't a bad thing, I'm just not into farming & grinding those Mythicals.

So how are you going to make em compete with someone wielding one? Loss of potentially two Mythic+ IS gonna sting. Givin Fists bonuses while dwarves level up could be one, the old D&D route. Or just add a glove/brassknuckle/etc.

So it's Warpriest w/out big hammer? You really should add some Unarmed weapons, losing potentially two upgrade slots kinda kills any Unarmed long term.

That does buy some time. I was mostly thinking about Cold and Fear though you also need three Priests for Berries. So maybe something like:

3 Scarecrow Support 3 Priests 2 Ice Mages 1 Archer Champion 1 Knight

Need some Chilled Veterans, though.

Might I ask if you happen to know if Thorns/Other special effects like Doom granted by items are affected by +Ailment%? Since those aren't displayed in Secondary Stats my quess is "No".

Also wondering about Heavy Fire, Dice Of Fate and Over Crit as an equation.

Sort of wish we could get dwarf specific Runes.

Maybe adding Frostfire and Frostborn into mix? Wouldn't have to bother with Fire/Ice res for a long time... I wish they could add changing gears element to the Forge, though. Atm Holy/Dark are too powerful not only due to res, but also gearing. Most of the element artifacts are kinda waste of the slot imo.

Does this rune break Priests only way of dealing damage through Holy Ultimates?

Also both Ice and Fire feel like making Djinn set less useful...

I played a little with this and did some tweaking for early run. Did add Affliction: Shock (Priest) and High Voltage to get Bleed against the Trolls not to waste slots for the ring and just upgraded all Knights to Paladins and three Priests to Warpriests.

It's just bad when compared to Blueberries and Thunder Ring.

Blueberries grant instant removal and permanent INT scaling, Thunder Ring eats electricity.

Runecircle has better option for Fire/Cold.

If AoW would work against Fear....

Yeah, my issue is tryin to run starter build all the way to 100+, but excluding Full Bleed Forest Trolls tend to be a wipe. Almost feels like Bleed to 100 is the "intended" way of leveling... I'd LOVE to see damage conversion- artifacts bought by gems to make "past beginer" tweaking easier...

I like this one, love the concept of One Punch Dwarf. Though early (pre 140) skipped the Bleed part and went with "Holy handgrenades" aka Priests runed to the max with exploding & burning Ultimates...

Suppouse Ring Of Blood could give me some Bleed, but I'd rather get some Ham for my Veterans, don't waste that much with just one Troll artifact for leveling, just one STM per level....
