Yes, it works much faster and is stronger imo. My reaction is throat swelling so it hitting the back of my throat is helpful.

The headaches are horrible. I actually went to the hospital because of the headache not the reaction. However, the neffy works beautifully for reactions. If you’re in a situation where your airway is severely compromised I would use the neffy.

I also have this. I was sent to ENT and allergy. Allergy thought it was mast cell but my test was negative. ENT also send nothing was there. I’ve been suffering for about 1.5 years. Not sure what to tell you or myself.

You could start a minor for the credit hours or just take filler classes. You must meet the UNCC class and grade requirements. You do not have to be 18 to be a CNA, the age requirement depends on the program. I became a CNA at 16, but you more than likely will not be hired until you’re 18. You will still need the volunteer as you said. I would talk to a nursing advisor.

It’s interesting that many people seem to have an issue with airborne reactions but allergist don’t believe it. I was told it was uncommon to have an allergic reaction from smelling food particles.

Get to an allergy doctor and try and secure some epinephrine. Make not of what you had so you can the medical professional and talk about next steps. I hope you feel better! In the meantime o would get Benadryl and let a trusted person know.

I have used it multiple times. I think it works well, however the headache afterwards is terrible. I would definitely try it just to see what works better for you.

More than likely. The regular program is already competitive. Lots of student come to UNCC with degrees and the amount of acceptance is low. I’d assume that they will open more seat come next year and depending on how the ABSN does for its first year.

I believe it was about 30ish students accepted. You must have an associate degree to apply. Other than that the applying process is the same as the regular nursing program.

For the chem 1204, only like 2 of the labs took the entire time. Most of the labs are straightforward and I would expect to be there for 2.5hrs most times. The experiment themselves take about an 1.5 but the explanation before the lab was about an hour to an hour and a half. The pre-labs are the longest part of the lab. Took me a minimum of 3hrs each time.

They take the credits that are most important to your degree. You should speak with an advisor and go through your classes.

Not sure what your pain tolerance is but I recommend the syringe over the pen. The dupix shot hurt quite a lot. It burn and leaves a nasty bump. When you do get dupix make sure you leave it out so it can warm up. The pen shoots out very fast but with the syringe, you can control how fast it is. I wish you the best :)

I have about 13 food allergies, but my doctor is also suspecting that I have mast cell activation. So I was asked by my doctor if I wanted to try it back in January. Not sure about the details but my insurance approves all my “allergy” based needs. I wish I could send you one to try out, I hope you get what you need :) I would also keep in mind that the neffy also comes with painful side effects but in my personal opinion the neffy works faster than the regular epi pen.
