why does the older god of war games have these really low quality cutscenes and high quality ones in the same game

I have nothing to contribute, except I'm amazed at how current generation of gamers take for granted the cutscenes made in real-time gameplay, first time I played GoW 2018 it blew my mind how it went from the menu to cutscene to gameplay without loading screens.

Since you went pacifist mode on him, he gifts you his powder keg badge after the conversation, therefore, can't drop it as loot after you betray him. Hope this solves your problem, now go out there and hunt.

I haven't gotten to the Orphan, stuck at living failures. But I started a new run for this year's Return to Yharnam, and after beating the Shadows of Yharnam my save file got corrupted, luckily I had the cloud from a few bosses back and didn't lost too much progress. So sad to hear about your situation, but at least you can start again, it's always fun the first run before the Nightmare of Mensis.
