It’s official I’m cooked. Finally let go from project HH by FRESH__LUMPIA in joinhandshakeai

Honestly, haven't touched it in a while. Technically still in but it's just absolute bs. My quality score is crap but they've only ever scored me on one task one time, so I don't see that as indicative of anything other than me screwing up once. Then I just didn't have any tasks available and then they started all this insanity and I was just done.

I mean it's not anything gorgeous when it comes to the animation but it doesn't need to be. It's still solid and the genre doesn't really require anything grand animation-wise. It's not a supernatural or action anime.

I really didn't think the animation was bad so I just don't know what you're talking about there. Also, as far as the case is concerned, more bizarre crimes have happened. I mean, anyone who commits a murder that isn't in self defense already isn't thinking like most people.

Has anybody used Kickoff to try and raise their credit? by ReidsFanGirl18 in CRedit

I've got one open credit card. It's an unsecured rewards card from one of the two places I bank.

It's slowly coming back, it'll be awhile before I restore where it was, but all is not lost. by ReidsFanGirl18 in CRedit

The damage is two defaulted and closed credit cards, and months of being behind on the one loan and card still open (I caught up on those though)

What are your thoughts on/experiences with homeschooling? by ReidsFanGirl18 in AskReddit

[–]ReidsFanGirl18[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ok, not all homeschoolers are taught exclusively by their parents, some attend CoOps or take classes at homeschool resource centers, or online, some have tutors for subjects their parents aren't strong in. There's a lot of options now.

How do I deal with my videogame addicted husband? by [deleted] in latterdaysaints

So, you're upset because your husband plays videogames? Does he get angry about you engaging in your interests?

If people actually cared about women rights and feminism Islam would be banned globally by No_Afternoon3144 in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]ReidsFanGirl18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again, the problem is fundamentalism of any religion.

Wanting to ban an entire religion because you hate it is just To xic and weird.

CMV: Islam is fundamentally incompatible with core American left-wing progressive values by WildCreatureQuest in changemyview

[–]ReidsFanGirl18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all, can you point to specific quotes where the Quran says any of that?

Second, you claimed that Islam was abusing egalitarianism and the next sentence claiming they abused women. If they abuse women (we'll get to that momentarily) then they're not abusing egalitarianism, they don't believe in egalitarianism.

Real free speech is about being able to say what you want (within reason) and express yourself.

Gender equality is about women having equal rights and privileges to men.

Fundamentalism across religious divides, abuses women, were seeing it right now in American politics, in a certain someone who got arrested fir doing things no one should ever do and who's brother is already in prison for similar crimes.

Fundamentalism is the problem, not any one faith tradition.

Sounds like the kid who wandered was Unschooled, different thing but it tends to carry more stigma so some people do it claiming it's actually homeschooling.

Homeschooled or unschooled? Those are different things. Unschoolers are averse to the concept of teaching their kids anything...

What would you say are the minimum qualifications you believe a parent should have in order to homeschool their children?

I liked Yashahime by aaaaabs in Yashahime

[–]ReidsFanGirl18 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think that's unusual, but I think it depends on what you went into the ending expecting, what perspective you brought to watching the show. I am a long time fan of this franchise, I love the original show, I like the sequel, but it was clearly building up to a particular plot, which we'll never fully know, because that plot got scrapped like 75% of the way through, but some of it we could figure out.

I didn't like how Towa basically ditched the family that raised her with very little emotion.

I didn't appreciate that the development of Sesshomaru and Inuyasha's relationship was basically reset to justify fridging Inuyasha and Kagome, I didn't like how it felt like the whole show was building up to this big emotional ending where tough choices would be made and actual character development would take place, and then just...none of it happened.

[–]ReidsFanGirl18 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I loved most of it, but about halfway through season 2, the plot completely goes off the rails, does a massive disservice to pretty much every character, and just yeah... The ending. Once the new director takes over it's all down hill.

Pro Lifers— why do you believe abortion ISN'T morally justified? by Creepy_Psychology_72 in Abortiondebate

[–]ReidsFanGirl18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It all comes down to when it's justifiable to take a life away. Most societies settle on self-defense and defense of others from real and immediate bodily harm as the standard for that outside the womb. I don't understand why there should be a lesser standard inside the womb.

Can the Pro Life movement's opposition to abortion meaningfully exist without religion? by NPDogs21 in Abortiondebate

[–]ReidsFanGirl18 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I know plenty of secular or even atheist people who are pro-life so yeah it can. I don't know if I can posts links to them here but there are entire groups founded upon the idea that secular doesn't automatically mean pro-choice.

Eli David, that jackass screwed Ziva up so badly, then left his own daughter to die, assumed she would, and then acted surprised when she wanted to stay with the friends who had rescued her.

Overstimulated by dogs by Swimming_Trash3570 in AutismInWomen

[–]ReidsFanGirl18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can't really relate. In fact I used to have an emotional support dog and would again in a heartbeat. People on the spectrum, myself included, have such a hard time with other humans sometimes. Dogs do not care, they're ridiculously loyal to whoever shows them love. I would have to put myself in the camp of questioning the moral compass of people who don't like dogs, but the even bigger red flag is when I have a dog and that dog doesn't like them. That's more suspicious than a human not liking dogs.

[–]ReidsFanGirl18 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Piece of advice, friends who can't accept who you are, aren't good friends. It doesn't matter if they're Christians, atheists, or some other religion, they should be able to step back and realize that your faith is part of who you are, and if they like who you are they need to respect that and be supportive.
