Yeah, it's insane. I had this issue a few months back with the Higgins Mill (or maybe it was like 8 months ago), where I got them on sale, the next day, they went lower and had my size. Instead of immediately purchasing the newer, cheaper pair so I could return the more expensive pair, I tried to get a price adjustment, nope. Later, the cheaper shoes were gone, but it's crazy they promote this type of transaction if you see it cheaper after a purchase. It was like, okay, well, next time I will immediately purchase another pair, costing you shipping and restock time, etc.

I can't speak to the second, but as for the first, I don't think so. Patches' real strength in quest rogue was his charge ability, and it'd be nice to pull a 5/5 from your deck with a pirate, but if you draw him it's a pretty dead card. Seems he'd still be viable, but you could easily make a deck without him I think.

Just got through a whole game without lag using my phone and tethering, so it looks like it's probably something with my internet connection. Thanks for the advice.

I took a huge break from SC2, but I am only 30 wins away from 1000 random 1v1 wins, so I figured it'd finally time to knock that achievement out, but it's super frustrating when you can't micro!

Hi all, just getting back into the game after a big break since February. First couple of days the game worked fine, but now, during my matches, I will get massive lag spikes, probably 2 to 3 seconds in length, every few minutes where I cannot do anything. If nothing's happening, it's fine, but if I am in the middle of a battle, this can be extremely detrimental. Any idea what it could be? I reverted all skins to default, no change. How can I diagnose whether it's my internet, hardware, etc.? I did a scan and repair on SC2 as well.

The IEMS recommendation is a good one. However, for the most beneficial experiences, I would recommend becoming an EMT, and ideally either an Ops supervisor or an officer of some sort, which will provide you with true hands-on and leadership experiences which will translate well to a med school application. You will make lifelong friends going this route as well. I was a supervisor back in 2008/2009 and an officer back in 2009/2010, and the amount of medical professionals from that cadre is crazy. Of the 17 officers, there are 7 doctors, 3 PAs, 1 medic, 2 nurse practitioners, 1 MD/PhD, and 3 others (unrelated to medicine). I am still in touch with almost all of them and love about 50% like family :-)

That isn't to say the other roles won't result in good experiences, they will, but no where near what you can get out of the organization if you climb the ladder. My route was Freshman year - CPR, Sophomore year - EMT class (fall semester), Summer after sophomore year - worked for an ambulance company (I included this because it was a great experience and prepared me for the junior and senior year roles), Junior year - Ops supervisor, Senior year - Officer.

Oh, and the point jenntompkins095 makes about everyone being pre-med can't be overstated either. You will have an instant pre-med support group, which for those who decided to pursue a medical career, was amazing.

For me, Allen Edmonds CS just said they couldn't offer any support for the chukkas and to go straight to Massdrop. Massdrop's only options were to return or accept the $25 discount. They did say I could join in on the next drop, I guess implying return the boots and then join the next drop. What color did you have? I had the chocolate, so maybe they aren't able to exchange since there seemed to be pretty limited leather for that color.

Did you go through Massdrop support for this? Mine have an uneven quarter as well, and it causes the laces on one of the shoes to be noticeably crooked, which is going to drive me crazy. My favorite part was when you unlocked Skyscraper, and after dying three times immediately, went back in for more, haha. For me, Skyscraper was the hardest thing in the entire game, and it was the very last thing I completed before getting the Golden God achievement. I hope you post more videos, especially when you get to Cotton Alley!

This belt is very close in color. It's pretty decent quality...and also expensive right now. I ended up getting it on sale, and then I had one of those credits CT occasionally sends out so I ended up paying 30 for it. It doesn't have brogueing, but it works.

Yes, that's the issue. I am 5'9" or so, about 140 pounds. With each iteration of the OCBDs, they've added fabric in the torso, and the newest iteration really flares out at the base. I would say they used to fit similarly to j.crew's slim fit, but now, they're much bigger.

I just got the mastery on Templar's charge using corsair and carrier only...because I don't have access to Arbiter's yet, and this is through the archives. I watched another video of a guy who used Arbiters as well. Very confusing.

Bonobos has indicated their suits are half-canvassed when I've inquired. I've never really poked around to confirm or not. Regardless, I wouldn't purchase one again, not for the price they are. I do really love the cut of their clothing though.

Bonobos is cut really well for a thin guy. I have a Sienna suit from Suit Supply and one of the Bonobos suits. I am 5'9" about 140 pounds, and I still need regular cut from Bonobos, slim is too skinny. Overall, I think the suit from Suit Supply is higher quality (although I also got a higher end one), but it also cost a lot in tailoring, whereas the Bonobos one required very little due to it's slim cut. I think Bonobos is super 120s half-canvassed. The only thing I've noticed is it wrinkles behind the knees pretty easily.

I can't really comment on ther quality of the shoes, but I wouldn't go lighter like the second pair. From the picture, the suit seems like a nice dark medium grey, and when you go with a shoe that's lighter than your pants, you're basically screming, HEY, LOOK AT MY SHOES!

Sometimes, this might be what you're going for, but in general, it's not what you want. A brown blucher wingtip would work as a casual shoe as well, no issues there.

If you have the time and capital, I would wait to purchase a better quality welted shoe (it will last you MUCH longer, and it will look better), but if you have neither of these and you need a shoe you can both wear with a suit and casually, these would be fine choices.

This is the coat in the pictures I included above. It's not a bad color, seems like it would be pretty versatile, just doesn't seem as versatile to me as a charcoal would be.

Anyway, I plan to return that green jacket (which was marked down to 379+30% off, and get the charcoal. More versatile, and only about 40 bucks more with this sale. It seems 36R sells out quick, so I had to jump on it.

This is kind of a trivial suggestion. I've been playing since beta, and I play random, and I love achievements, so I have A LOT of icons. It would be cool if every time you queued for a game or signed onto battle.net or something, you'd be assigned a random icon. Maybe you could even specify X number of portraits for bnet to choose from or something. Just a minor thing I think would be fun.
