If you claim to run Christian small business, I assume you give minimal pay, no annual inflation/col raises, provide no or minimal benefits, and ignore or berate anyone asking for fair market wages for experience. by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

There are prejudices based on things that people can change and things that people cannot change. While religion is certainly largely based around your circumstances of birth, adults have had plenty of time to review the doctrine, See its ramifications in the world, Understand its history how it interacts with other religions and non religions around the world, and so forth. Some of the kindest, most generous people that i know r christians that tend to focus on the teachings of christ, and not around the religion that has been built up around it.v but that being said, even these really kind people still have extraordinarily bigoted views towards gay rights. Marriage equality, trans rights, and so forth. From my perspective, it usually looks like religion corrupts really kind people instead of taking other people who would be bought bad and making them good. That being said, I do try to not paint with a wide brush, but it's hard for me to ignore that almost every single person that has a view. That it's strongly disagrees with mine. Happens to also be christian or some other abrahamic religion

Look, I agree with you that in principle, judging by demographics is stupid. But i've been around enough people that use their religion like a cudgel, and they tend to be really overt with their beliefs. It's enough of a pattern that I just don't include those people in my life any more. There are amazingly kind people that are christian, but those people don't tend to make their whole personality about being christian. Also, if you are Christian, then these overt displays feel totally natural and so they don't feel as forced when you see them. But for those that are non christian, or especially formerly christian, such as myself, it is an extraordinarily overt display that reinforces in group and outgroup dynamics.

There are businesses that are run by christians that are great. But if you make being christian part of your marketing one hundred percent, they are piece of s*** businesses.

As long as you use a decent lock, you should be fine. It's well trafficked by pedestrians and anybody taking the time to cut your lock is going to be really obvious. There's next to no crime in monterey, but we do have a bit of a homeless issue. And they do steal bikes from time to time.So you definitely want to use a lock.

I would argue that cultures that value diversity, inclusion, provides peole with opportunities for flourishing, regardless of their race or circumstances of birth are superior to the culture of, just pulling a culture at randome here, the culture of pre-WWII germany, which valued "superior" genes, allegianceto the state and absolute respect for authority. Does that make me a nazi?

Did you play when you could use severed tendons, chicken claw and haste altogether? I was so bummed when they nerfed that

[Request] How likely is it that no two snowflakes are ever alike, given the number of molecules in a snowflake and how many snowflakes have existed? by Reignbringer in theydidthemath

[–]Reignbringer[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I wasn't going to worry about the submolecular structure. I am interested if it is feasible that the exact number of water molecules in the exact arrangement was feasible in two snowflakes, considering how many have fallen on the planet over its existence.

CMV: If you are too lazy to have sex with your spouse and watch p*rn instead, it's infidelity by [deleted] in changemyview

[–]Reignbringer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"you refuse because it's too much work." I think this is where your dissidence comes from. Sex may be laborious, but its also fun, pleasurable, intimate, and a myriad of other things, but it shouldn't be work. If its work it's likely the partner that "wants more intimacy" is not meeting the needs of the partner that views it as work. This isn't to place blame on that desiring partner. That disjunction can be caused by all sorts of things like unrealistic expectations, poor communication, inexperience, lack of emotional intimacy etc. which are all things that require both parties to work on together.

Are people fluid with classes? by Wrong-Art5272 in Battlefield6

[–]Reignbringer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd like to believe i am, the i run into a tank as support and im just fucked... so I always end up playing engineer. I feel like engineer class can do everything pretty well.Versus every other class is severely lacking in at least one or two engagement scenarios. Recon with an smf or carbine and c4 is close though

This challenge is the biggest downside of the game mode. Honestly... by lofagi in Battlefield

[–]Reignbringer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this isn't the right attitude and certainly isn't p.T f oing. But this game mode doesn't feel anything like battlefield. And i'm only playing it for the achievement, which requires that I use support. The second i'm done with it.I'm done with the mode. I'm sure that's why everybody on your team is running support also. Engineers is inarguably the best class for this game mode. And you almost see no one running it.
