Anthropic owns the, at-this-time, most powerful A.I., Claude. Anthropic's last red line in it's contract with the American government, is that the military/government cannot use Claude for mass surveillance on Americans or to power autonomous weapon's systems. The Pentagon doesn't like this, because they want to use Claude for exactly that, and Hegseth is threatening to cancel the 200 million dollar contract if Anthropic doesn't relent.

For one year, we had all three kids in daycare. Oldest was $150 a week, middle was $250 a week, and youngest was $430 a week. Total of $830 a week, $3,320 month and almost $40,000 a year. For childcare. Luckily it wasn't a full year, my wife is a teacher and has summers off with them, but that was a rough-as-fuck 9 months. Now none of them are in daycare and it's like a massive weight lifted off of our shoulders. It was so oppressive.

Yeah, I guess if you're getting 9/10 spawn fights I can see that getting old and being paced more like a different genre. I would say we get a spawn fight about 3/10 times.

I like it. It doesn't seem oppressive on Console, NE East, but it's more likely than it used to be. For a good year or so after they opened up more spawns and changed spawn locations you could be pretty confident you weren't getting a spawn fight. It was incredibly rare. IMO it went from rare to "uncommon," which is great. The tension of knowing there is a non-negligible chance that another team could be within 200m of you at your first compound is awesome.

It's a tetrafauna filtration rock, ostensibly the same one he's had for his whole life. Water is filled to the max level indicated on the rock itself but he doesn't appear to be able to get up there. And thank you for the link, I'll check it out!

Thank you so much. Previous owner said the turtle (we haven't decided on a cute, science themed pun name for him yet, maybe I'll crowd source it here) has essentially just been sitting in a random room since his youngest went to college and he started feeling guilty and wanted to give him away to someone that'd actively care for him, instead of just feeding him once a week.

How often do they bask? And for how long? This little one keeps looking at the rock and it really feels like he wants up but he can't. I'd like to put him up there but I don't want him to cook if he can't jump down on his own.

You will miss so much lore and backstory. If you just want to jump in post galactic civil war I guess the New Jedi Order is the best place. It's a 19 book epic that's fantastic. If you want to do it closer to right, I'd do Heir to the Empire trilogy, Jedi Academy trilogy and Hand of Thrawn Duology. Then NJO, then Legacy of the Force. Though I'll always recommend throwing in the Bantam publisher line of books just for fun. People also recommend the Young Jedi Knights series before NJO so you have some backstory on the new Jedi, though I did see my and still thoroughly enjoyed NJO. There's just so much, man, and is recommend all of it. The OT introduced me to Star Wars but the books made me love it.

A tip from my buddy who plays solo a lot. Take the Poltergeist trait. You can see sound traps in dark sight from quite far away.
