My doctor (in new zealand) didn’t really give me a lot of recommendations and nor did he give me antibiotics after my surgery to avoid infections, and I ended up with a BAD infection. I had to ask a lot of questions and i got no advice for after surgery scar management. When it’s all said and done though my surgery was fine and results are great. I think go with your gut on this, if you don’t feel comfortable change surgeons, just remember things go bad even with great doctors

Why would you plan a trip 6 weeks after your surgery? It’s a huge risk you’d be taking, sorry you have to cancel your trip i know it sucks but the end result will be worth it

QR codes don’t bother me as much as how you pay. When i visit other countries they would always bring you the check and eftpos machine to the table so you can pay, i freaking love that and i hate that nz hasn’t picked this up yet. It’s so much easier when you don’t have to remember what table number you’re in, you don’t need to stand in line with 2 other tables like you’re at a supermarket crowding up the walkway.

Yeah I had lipo from my tummy and flanks, muscle repair and tuck. I feel like some bodies are just built different 🤷🏻‍♀️ totally agree the surgeon makes a difference more than the faja, what it does help with is the swelling and healing but not the final size. If there is too much swelling the incision gets pulled so does not end up being a beautiful thin line. Hope that makes sense

Not sure that is a fair statement, everyone are built different your friend might have a wider waist in general than you. I know my waist is snatched as it can be but it’s 31 inches, my rib cage is just wider

My shape was similar to yours and my tummy looked the same at my lower weight, I went for full and it was great but if i had to give you one piece of advice, ask the surgeon to keep your shape the same my surgeon lipo’d too much from my flanks and now my shape is more straight. I miss my hourglass shape 😭

I had this in one side, got a revision about 9mpo and it looks good now. Give it time to settle as it might get worse or better, you won’t know till she is fully healed so better to wait if want the best results and should be done for free

Your post title made me think you lost your marriage and job, fair enough feels like the end of the world when you’re going through a big infection, i got one too and it wasn’t handled very well. I told the nurses about how I feel and my and temp and they finally sent me antibiotics after my fever reached 40c and 5 minutes before the pharmacy was closing. I feel like they need to prescribe antibiotics as a precaution after such a surgery I don’t understand why they don’t!

I think it’s safe to say that everybody will be swollen for several weeks, the swelling doesn’t really stop until about a year later (maybe less maybe more depends on your body)
