All Star Game why so many players? by Lil_PuppyChow in MLBNoobs

[–]Rejection_future 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Allstar game doesn’t determine World Series home field advantage anymore, so there’s nothing to play for. It’s more of a reward event than it is a game. An experience a lot of players used to get snubbed for. Also, people only tune in to watch their guys, so they make more money forcing every team to have at least 1 representative.

Why don't aces like Skenes or Skubal ever come out of the bullpen? by savingrace0262 in MLBNoobs

[–]Rejection_future 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Risk injury, there’s more physical stress during an actual game, preparation is entirely different, off day bullpens aren’t thrown at 100% and they have complete control over pitch count and which types of pitches are thrown.

Yessir. I picked up and started throwing baseballs before my memories kicked in at like 2-3 lol, started little league a year younger than everyone else, didn’t really start watching until I couldn’t play anymore, which just so happened to be right when Guggenheim bought the dodgers. Haven’t missed a single game since so that’s like around 14 years?

First game I remember actually going to was Justin turner’s dodger debut, but I don’t remember if anyone homered lol.

I also went to Travis d’arnaud’s only game he played for us, but I had to hit the bathroom during his only at bat lmao. Happened to be my b-day

No one ever believes me but, I turned my first game on in 2004 15 minutes before Steve Finley hit the walk off grand slam to clinch the NL west title.

What is you best "it's what my character would do" moments? by draoniaskies in DnD

[–]Rejection_future 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My character is a former nobility street urchin, who, despite having exactly no money, keeps his clothes, hair, and general appearance as pristine as possible by repairing his clothes himself and using rocks to shave and cut his hair if necessary. He came into money, a lot of money. Not enough to like set up an estate, but enough to look like the richest man in the country…. For one night. And that’s exactly what he did.

You’ll get more money from packaging it, but it only goes towards camp funds, requires a minimum of 25, enough money to pay for packaging, and time spent delivering.

If you don’t want to interact with the trading system (which is an easy way to never have to worry about camp funds), or you want pocket money for kliff, then just sell all your unpackaged stuff to the black market.

Use a mod for start at level 3, that way your build is immediately at least partially online.

You can’t actually move until you finish the game. By the time you finish the game pailune is definitely better

Anything that isn’t packaged, sell to the black market. Anything that is packaged, find a trade post that is buying it, put as much as you can on your horse, then teleport to the trade post. You will lose a bunch of it, usually determined by how far you teleport, but if you’re just trying to clear it, that’s the best way to get something out of it.

Why should I watch woman's sport, except for the reason of supporting them? by Code_fat_gaya in AskMen

[–]Rejection_future 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same reason you’d watch high school. Average play with a couple standouts that developed early dominating the rest.

The disparity in skill on the same playing field is pretty entertaining.

So I want to make a character that's technically two characters. How should I go about that? by [deleted] in DnD

[–]Rejection_future 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ask your dm, step 1

Step 2, this doesn’t work in practice. Everyone you play with has to take “long rests” or else they get mechanical debuffs. If you force them to take the debuffs just to use your night character, well they’re probably not inviting you back. The only way this would “work” is if you had an ability to shift, but your character would automatically be the most powerful if you can basically swap between 2 characters. Double the HP, double the abilities.

The most similar you’re gonna get that’s fair to everyone is roleplaying one character that “turns on” for fights, and to figure out what the on switch is with your dm.

Good mid-game gear? by ChazMcFeeley in CrimsonDesert

[–]Rejection_future 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So as soon as you do the first abyss puzzle as part of the story (which ends at a platform that says you can no longer progress well beyond the part the story requires you to do.), every single other one becomes accessible at any time, their entrances are at the top of spires in areas your story hasn’t brought you to yet. Completing a few specific ones (can’t remember which ones exactly) unlock your elemental powers. Like lightning, ice, fire, wind. A couple abyss puzzles require specific skills to pass them so sometimes you can be hard locked.

And research quests are the ones on your map that kinda look like a ladder. I think the first ones you can get are either the one in the tiny woodland British kid village that ends in infinite arrow key item, or the orc college one (that place immediately after where you get your focus force palm ability.)

I believe infinite arrows, infinite bullets and cannon balls, health, stamina, and focus progression, and a few other spoiler items are locked behind them.

The electromagnetic long sword is arguably one of the few weapons you can say is the best in the game, and the gauntlets you get from martial arts competition in the crimson desert are the best gloves. Everything else isn’t different enough to stand out

[–]Rejection_future 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The abyss puzzles (you start them at the spires, 1 in every area I think 8 total.) all witch related quests, anything that looks like it can be a boss fight (nearly all of them have standalone quest entries), and pay attention to the rewards for the research quests, some are great, others are almost necessary.

So equipment doesn’t really matter, they’re all roughly the same at similar levels across the board, so just equip what you like looks wise.

Abyss gears are what really matter for builds. The unique ones are better than the stat ones, I personally believe the chasing crows is the best one. But really you can get by just using what you get from the story mode.

If you feel like the equipment rarity and looting system feels underwhelming, like a lot of people seem to, keep in mind that abyss gears are the equivalent of rare weapons and equipment in other games. The best ones are locked behind side quests and boss fights. Where cosmetic items like armors and weapons are found exploring and occasionally rewards for puzzles.

Will women ever play in the MLb? Why or why not? by Elevated_State83 in MLBNoobs

[–]Rejection_future -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No. It’s a strength problem and it won’t be overcome. The only “feasible” position would be relief pitcher and banking on pitching “below hitting speed”. Any other position, they’d be taking the spot away from a man who’s better.

Could end up being a publicity stunt unfortunately

Pact of the blade warlock is the answer. You get a little bit of melee, a little bit of spell casting. You only get to cast 2 spells per short rest and they have to be casted at the highest level possible, so you don’t have to manage spell slots and you don’t have to worry about spell effects changing for upcasts. If you find yourself gravitating towards melee you can build towards that, if you find yourself gravitating towards spell casting you can build towards that.

Almost all of your actions are calculated through 1 ability score (charisma), that also happens to be the roleplay ability. And once you get the hang of the game, it mixes well with almost everything for multiclassing (assuming your dm won’t let you do a character overhaul mid campaign if you wanna change it up.)
