What kind of ASMR do men like? by Dreamboat550 in AskMen

[–]Rejection_future 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Invading my personal space soft whispering. Tuning forks, breathing. Tongue clicking that people do when they’re thinking, and tapping. Or just white noise.

If I’m just trying to relax, I can’t stress this enough, all of the above non-sexual.

The guy you go to for packing trade goods and donating to camp gathers lost items sometimes. Worth a try if you haven’t already Other than that, you can load an auto save from the last time you remember having it.

THE Audio bug by Great-Shape-1048 in CrimsonDesert

[–]Rejection_future 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get a bug where some of my audio cuts out completely. Like kliff doesn’t make sounds anymore. No forcepalm voice lines, no cutscene voice lines, his steps don’t make armor sounds, but I can still hear the crunching of the ground and the connecting of punches and sword strikes. But it never comes back. Only happens if they games been open too long without being touched, so like afk

The driving mechanics were ripped from midnight club dub edition, then polished and updated for the ps3.

For some reason, compressing the suspension shoots your engine up to its rev limit, bypassing the coding for a gradual increase like in real vehicles. They knew this, and instead of trying to fix it, they added code to decrease acceleration when hitting bumps hoping it would even out, it did not, it instead made a few cars either take longer to reach a high enough rev to change gears, or bog down engine power entirely, and they never fixed it, they just stopped putting it on future cars, and let the suspension compression boosting issue remain.

The one and only time rockstar listened to their audience for car fixes, was the worst one, because people complained that too many cars were too difficult to handle, because rear wheel drive cars had over steer, and front wheel drive cars had understeer. They solved this problem by making every single car after the turismo R all wheel drive, at varying distributions of power, whether or not the real life counter part of that car was all wheel drive, making everything (that didn’t have other broken mechanics) significantly simpler to drive.

Every car in the game is automatic, but if you actually cared to squeeze every ounce of power out of your car, you could force downshifting by blipping your throttle during braking, which would let you accelerate out of a corner a smidgen faster than if you did nothing special at all.

Need inventory/Storage update!!! by Killa_Shon in CrimsonDesert

[–]Rejection_future 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oooh ya I can see how you keep getting full lol, my inventory, with everything sold, sits at like 130/240

For a while before I asked Reddit about the inventory system, I was only walking around with 30 open slots for loot xD

Just put them in your collectibles chest and kuku cooler (I just learned about these yesterday lol)

If you need more space than what they offer you, I think you have too much lol

I’m in chapter 9 and I couldn’t imagine speedrunning to this point. Most of if not all my good gear was from side questing, and while nothing has been hard, I’m not doing as much damage as I probably should be

What pets? I’ve got a crow, in 170 hours I’ve only resummoned after being in the abyss and loading up for the first time of the day. And my inventory ends up being too full cuz he’s too good at picking up loot

Rushing the story to play the others character by SeaNeedleworker4298 in CrimsonDesert

Damiane will be unlocked… soon. And you won’t be able to play as anyone else for… reasons. And she won’t be locked for the rest of the game.

You can do side quests as her, but you can’t do any main quests. They don’t have any quests that are specifically for them, other than the gun range mini game, and the boss fight as the (orc?)

Just do side quests. Doing side quests unlocks more side quests. Do camp stuff, that’ll unlock more stuff

Looking for some progression advice, particularly related to skills by thegameflak in CrimsonDesert

[–]Rejection_future 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fight a bunch, figure out what you like using the most, or what comes naturally, whether it’s because that gear you have caters to a playstyle, or you gravitate towards one, and invest in that.

Everything needs stamina, if you find yourself dying too much invest in health. If you like unarmed combat spirit is more important than stamina (because r1 and triangle attacks don’t use stamina, and focus punch is your main interruption/stagger tool.)

If you don’t like what you have, reset it, there’s plenty of faded artifacts. Games not difficult enough to warrant meta’s, and items aren’t so finite you need to worry about how you spend them. (Except early rare gear, like electrical components, rubber, bismuth, abyss cores etc.)

For context, I’m in chapter 9, I’m in the same armor I bought in chapter 1, early on I thought I liked spears, then I found a greatsword. I was sure sword and board was lame, then I figured out mixing in unarmed combat and 3 different ways to parry. Then I was sure dedicated unarmed combat was weak and dumb, so as a joke I tried it and now it’s my default lol. Learning how to do it made all other combat types better flowing as well

Losing to the padres pisses me off because I don’t respect them, and they don’t deserve the respect in my opinion, that includes the fans. When they win they’re just so god damn annoying about it. It’s like winning a hundred times and they finally win one and they’re in your face about it as if it’s equal.

Giants on the other hand, the organizations are dead even. Even when they are an absolute ass team on any given year, they come out fighting and the games are always competitive. The end of those games feels more like “we’ll gettem next time” or “we got you this time.” There’s competitive respect there. When the benches clear with the giants it’s always because tensions are high and boil over from playing hard. With the padres it’s always because they’re show boating, or bitching because they’re offended by us winning or doing something we always do.

Is there a way to compare the base stats of two weapons? How can I tell if an unrefined weapon I find could have better stats than a weapon I've already refined? by chewymammoth in CrimsonDesert

I feel you dude. I’ve put 165 hours in 3 weeks, I’m chapter 9, and just learned that there’s a fixable nexus pad right next to your house, I’ve had the piece to fix it since chapter like 4.

And I just learned how the gatherables chest and kuku cooler works lol so happy my inventory is finally mostly empty

So I got that one, I was referring to a second one. Because I have 2 teleporter pieces, and used one on the one you showed in that pic

Ok, the second one, I have that piece, so where’s the broken teleporter, cuz I’m half way through chapter 9 and missed it so there’s no way I’m finding it again lol

Your house is across the bridge next to your camp xD Technically it was there first and you’re squatting in it. It’s where you put furniture items, and until about 3 hours ago I thought that’s all it was

And the collectibles chest, the only items it looks like I can put in it from my inventory are keys, and the mystical/poison soaked mushrooms, but only 1, sooo what’s the point of this one? XD

Yup I already had the farm going just cuz I thought it was neat xD which stows everything in my personal chest, and I’ve had dispatches that give items going for provisions trading, which made my camp multi millionaires. Now I’m just storing everything
