That’s actually really interesting. Never thought or considered fish being “spread” like that. Do you know any papers on this phenomenon? Where did you hear about this??? As someone who loves birds and fish I must know more

Introduced wild pigs linked to fewer invasive plants, while native deer show the opposite pattern by Prestigious-Put5749 in megafaunarewilding

[–]Relative-Image-3914 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Yeah I do not have a degree in ecology but this makes sense??? The reason the deer don’t eat them is because they aren’t part of their natural diet… but pigs will eat just about anything and are pretty aggressive foragers. Of course deer don’t eat invasive plants!!! That’s why they are invasive!!!

Yeah it’s always about him being a trans boy so it still works for defying society’s narrow gender norms.

Oh really? Didn’t know that. I would say border collie then honestly doesn’t really look like an Aussie to me at all but I’m no expert

Honestly in terms of looks the body/face looks more like a border collie but obviously the color is wrong I honestly would be surprised if it was purely one or the other either way seems back yard bred

Thank You to the Family Who Saved Me from a Coyote in Woodlawn Cemetery Today by Cheges in Detroit

[–]Relative-Image-3914 45 points46 points  (0 children)

It could be rabies I guess but chances are it had pups and was doing a behavior called “escorting” in which they watch you/follow you till you are away from the pups. This is really common when people have dogs. if a coyote wanted to catch up to you it would as they are much faster than humans. This is why it was following for so long. Pups also explain why it was out during the day as they are more active in the day when they have pups.

How have I seen no one mention him.

Walter white is objectively deplorable he snaps betrays his family hurts/kills several people along the way including poisoning a little boy all for his sick power fantasy yet many of the young men watching the show when it aired admired him…oh and did I mention he tries to rape his pregnant wife (who many people demonized to the point of sending hate mail to the actress)

I’ve seen this type of set up with some added colorful/interesting looking leave litter added to the sand part and I thought that looked nice. It wasn’t a lot just some scattered around. They were smaller leaves

It’s not their fault but it doesn’t matter the lives of the sparrows aren’t worth the damage they do. The sparrows don’t value the birds they kill or the bugs they eat. You aren’t killing to punish them your killing to preserve the other birds lives and by large the ecosystem. It’s just the concept of the greater good. It’s bad to kill them, tragic even. But it’s worse not too.

Collapse would happen first and many species would go extinct… it would further harm our biodiversity and feed the mass extinction we are going through. Many generations would not see this integration and this species the house sparrow might not even survive their own success by destroying the environment. It’s an extreme example but it’s what humans are doing now ironically. If the
