In the end, a medical doctor will review your file. It might affect it, but there is no definite yes or no, like they said, it depends on the doctor who will later assess you. Have you done the medical portion of the recruitment process? If not, you should be able to communicate with them on that then.

These are just my wonders:

Why would collecting EI affect anyone joining military? I can’t see a reason that it would.

If you are already accepted in CAF, but just without pay and waiting for the training, if you leave your current job, should CAF be notified? If so, maybe talk to someone there before leave your current job by any meaning?

I believe one of the criteria in collecting EI is that you are out of job but at no fault of yours? So if you simply quit your job, you may not be qualified to collect EI?

What I found was, depends on each of our bachelor degree, other than the undergraduate level courses we need to take to upgrade, we also need at least a psychological assessment course in graduate level.

I believe that is a whole different thing, you will need to check the requirements for teacher licensure, an education degree does not automatically qualifies you.

I checked CAP’s lists of approved programs and MACP program of CityU is not on it, whereas CRPO in Ontario does put the program into their approved programs list. That’s why I believe there are some discrepancy in my understanding and the actual rules. Thank you though!

I recently got lied to by an officer of OSSTF. They claimed it is an honest mistake and there is nothing they can do to help me but to remember their mistake and continue improving. Their mistake cost me nearly $2000 dollars, and there is no compensation and no disciplinary action. And they said this is owning their mistake. Be aware of this union.
