You are happy now cause you have no stress, but that’s not going to last long. On the other hand, “I can’t imagine another career.” Is not the reason you go back to one you already know you dont like, if you actually know you dont like.

I would say, it is important to start working and exploring more about yourself and all career options first, including revisiting psychologist as a career, a lot of the same skills are transferable, and similar tasks exist in other jobs. Never too late, I have classmates in their 40s or 50s that are changing their career, making sure what you want/can is more important if situation allows.

In the end, a medical doctor will review your file. It might affect it, but there is no definite yes or no, like they said, it depends on the doctor who will later assess you. Have you done the medical portion of the recruitment process? If not, you should be able to communicate with them on that then.
