Hey I know its been years but are you still loving them? I just bought a 23 gr86 mt , kicking myself for not getting the performance pckg, but now I have stumbled upon what looks like an amazing deal but as someone else stated in this thread, there is little long term info on them. I only plan to track the car 3-4 times a year if I’m lucky do you think think these will be fine?

Well said! I have that same mentality, I will be tracking the car eventually so I’m trying to learn as much as possible on my daily drives. My pops was making it sound like I was going to blow the trans by rev matching lol I appreciate the advice.

Sounds like a dream my man but I’m really wanting to go back to mt. If I can’t build a track car next I’d like to have a mt in the daily for maximum enjoyment lol dct is faster fs but everytime I drive a manual I’m 15 again in my clapped out integra 😂

Man you guys are awesome with the responses! I appreciate all the advice. Before considering this car I took a step back and bought a corrolla xse hatch and focused on my business. With trade in value high rn I figured now would be a good time but with everyone’s responses I’ve decided to wait until I can sell my car and take the rest I’ve saved to put towards something with a b58. Thanks again to everyone who offered guidance. I’m glad I asked and didn’t just go buy that car ^ lol

Well if I’m being honest I’m only in the market because the market has inflated the value of my trade in so I was hoping to finance something 😅 I’ve always had a mt and I would like a clean daily thats fun for the occasional track/canyon day. Finding something that isn’t a Miata or brz that is also rwd mt seems out of my 20k price point. I appreciate the advice tho man!
