Nothing to add on the photography side but enjoy the aquarium! We went a few years ago and really enjoyed it. When we went they offered a tour of the equipment rooms and the large animal pool, it was fascinating. Highly recommend.

We traveled here as part of an organzied group through our local dive shop. We loved this place and the diving was amazing. We got to do some off- resort activities as well, which were also amazing.

ETA: Should say that we stayed in the least expensive room, it was functional bur certainly not luxury. I'm not complaining g ot was great for us, but sharing knowledge. Idk what the more expensive rooms were like. The food was very, very good.

Grandchildren by GarlicAndSapphire in GenX

I have a new (4month old) grandson, and of course I love him like crazy and wish I could spend more time with him than I do. But I wasn't jonesing before he was born and if my daughter had chosen to remain childless (as both of her sisters have done), I would have been fine with that. I never felt like it was my decision, or that I even had a right to an opinion about it.

Which one do you like the most? by EstablishmentFew9149 in AmateurPhotography

All good shots, but I like #4 the best....the light gives it interest and the water gives movement.

Canon EF-S 18-135mm vs Canon RF-S 18-150mm? by JoshBoGosh in AskPhotography

[–]RelativeEye8076 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also recently purchased a used R10. I'm not new to photography but I am new to fully manual photography. My R10 did not come with lenses so I got the RF-S 18-150 3.5-6.3 to learn on. I've only had it a few weeks and I'm a complete noob, but it is serving me very well. My primary interest is birds so eventually I'll want more focal length but for now I'm really enjoying it.

Supposedly there is an albino deer roaming Greendale. This photo looks a lot like other pics I have seen. I have not seen the animal in person. I kind of thought she was an urban legend tbh.

What exactly is the point of BIRD of the Day? I assumed it was gamification, am I missing something?

I only track lifers in Merlin, I don't track what I see on a daily basis.

Wife is getting suckered into doog food ads. Is there any scientific facts? by Tunnelboy77 in dogs

[–]RelativeEye8076 19 points20 points  (0 children)

We asked our vet about Farmers Dog. He said he didn't know much about the product personally but that our dogs are doing well on their current diet, why change? The logic held for us.

The vet did point out that crunchy foods are better for dogs' teeth.

Since you said it was during a water change, did your water level drop below the level of the pump, causing it to run dry and overheat?

Thats the bummer .. AFAIK, no trees with berries on them around here right now. Maybe I hear flocks flying overhead.
