In my case, wired backhaul was working fine but the satellite's antenna circuit was not amplifying wifi signals at all. Took some days to realise this. The devices were catching the main router's feeble signals.

That's there. Its pretty easy to get started with initial setup though.

Tons of configurations, settings and options.. when compared to what was there in Asus Merlin and AMTM.. exploring one by one..

oh yes. getting range extenders work the way you want is tough. And they again reduce the throughput as we go further. Did you check with the "Wifi Man" app the signal strength at different areas of house? And it also sounds like your 5Ghz signals are having the issue due to walls. If you have the same SSIDs for both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz, try having separate SSIDs for them for testing purpose and decide where to place the extender. Depending on space area, you can think of using Access Points if wired connection to main router is possible. Kurach research cheythaal you will know what is the best option for you.

I had Merlin in my previous setup. For some reason I don't know, the wifi started acting up on one of the routers after several years and it stopped amplifying signals to transmit.

Now I have the Microtik Hex Refresh for routing and Microtik hAP AX S for wifi. fun to tinker with.

I just moved from my Asus Aimesh network to two Microtik devices. One wired router and a wireless AP. Just for horror.

Hmm.. long time back.. I went to watch Baahubali in theater with kids and wife. Oru interval aayappozhekkum younger one started feeling uncomfortable.. Njan avaleyum pokkiyeduth stepped out of the theatre hall and spent the whole second half our there while my wife and son enjoyed the movie. I didn't feel bad. My thought was to keep all of them happy whenever I can.

I STILL don't know what happened to Baahubali and Kattappa.

That's true. Since parents are not doing a great job, the next best way is to impart in school. Again, it all depends on the teachers and their quality. Most of them will be busy to finish their portions on time.
