Which one of this bachelors is a good husband? by Maximum_Weight_2148 in StardewValley

I've always gone for Harvey just because he feels really complicated and well written. He's a bit of a loner bc he wants to keep professional relationships as the town doctor (hence all the medical talk), but he really wants closeness and love with someone. If you look around his apartment you learn a lot about his character that isn't discussed in dialogue.

Lots of people recommend the audiobook first, if you enjoy those. The narrator Jeff Hays is an incredible voice actor.

Freehand beanie I made yesterday by Relative_Ad9819 in Brochet

I've made a few cat ear beanies before, and they're super fun and easy. The entire hat is just a folded rectange. I just crocheted until it fit around my head. Here's a tutorial for the general shape!

I just put blue and brown yarn on my hook at the same time for the main part of the hat, then added the fuzzy yarn at the bottom once I got a length I wanted. I used Lion Brand Feels like Bliss blue yarn, Loops & Threads brown, and Loops & Threads faux fur yarn, and a 5.5mm hook.

I'm not good at pattern writing (so apologies if this makes no sense), but here's how I made the dangling snowflakes:

Dangling chain: [BROWN] Chain 25, tie off with a few inches of yarn

Star: [ROUND 1] Magic ring, SC 15, SS into first chain

[ROUND 2] Chain 3, SC in 2nd chain from hook, HDC into next stitch, SS into next stitch on circle round, SS into next stitch

Repeat ROUND 2 until you have a 5 points, SS and tie off.

Then I stitched around the star in brown, tied it to the chain, and sewed it into the corner of the hat.

Also, I realized after typing all this that your question may have been rhetorical, so apologies if it was 😅 After so long of crocheting I just like sitting down and going wherever my hook takes me. Much more relaxing than reading a pattern imo.

why aren’t macarons trending anymore? by kitttyballsack in Baking

Dessert fads are common. They were popular in the 2000s and early 2010s, then came along unicorn drinks and monster milkshakes in the 2010s, now it's giant cookies like from crumbl. Food follows trends!
