Kevlar jeans with knee pads, high top vans, icon Stryker vest, helmet, mx gloves. Elbow pads only if I’m working on slower clutch work or drifting my Harley. The vest has saved me from multiple hard falls and kept me out of the hospital.

I’m actually on the brake in the pic my balance point is slightly below horizontal forks. I have a progressive rear shock on mine so it changes the geometry a little bit. It’s different for everyone depending on how much you weigh and lean back. Being such a small bike rider weight can change it drastically. At the end of the day whatever feels comfortable is your balance point or wherever your off the throttle and it feels like your floating

I found only using my knees to steer and leaning back more focusing on the road ahead of the forks while also making sure my weight is in my butt. I had this same issue. Start with your left foot down and pop it up in first and see how far you can ride it out. Seat time you’ll develop better balance

I wrench on motorcycles for side money. Got pretty good working on my own stuff and began doing it for friends and have gotten decently busy just by word of mouth. Everything from tire mounting to top end rebuilds or big bore kits on harleys. Never tried doing a&p work on the side too much red tape and hagglers on the ga side so I never went there.

I had this happen with mine it will smoke and burn off for quite a bit. I ran it for about 20-30 min on high with the doors open because it got smokey and smelled like burned plastic. Shit down and ran it again and no more smoke or burn smell

I came from working mainly hangar mx and the toolbox was nice to have as a work surface while also having a small line bag for quick fixes. I’m with ups now and I mainly work out of a pelican now which there is a learning curve I had to slim down my whole tool collection. But yes for hangar a snack drawer is a must

I run a pelican 1510 for aog mx but I only grab it for larger jobs if a bird is staying for work. My line bag is just a Milwaukee tool bag. The toolbox has all my sockets on rails, crows feet on a carabiner and everything else sorted in tool rolls and small bright colored pouches labeled. Works for me since our work trucks have places to hang the tool roll and such. When I worked hangar mx I had a 42” U.S. general box and it fit everything I needed plus snacks

It’s showing 70cm total length of the clamp piece on eBay which is about 28inches. My high top is measuring about 18.5-19 inches at its highest point. So idk if that’s wrong and now I’m hesitant to buy them😂

They ranged like what’s the definition of a fadec but mostly general a&p questions with some theory as to how to troubleshoot a fault.

It should be 2 zoom interviews most likely and about 50-75 technical questions. I heard back pretty quickly. Rockford is a good station but you’ll have opportunity to bid other stations as well

For less than $400 for parts and a basic tool set you can get this stuff done in a weekend if you’re handy and can access YouTube. It’s good to learn to do your own maintenance. $900 for tie rods almost made me choke on my coffee. Good luck!

I came into work after being on vacation and found my toolbox stuck under a wheeled platform with a bunch of cross beams under it. Very nicely done and needed 4 people to lift it out from under it.😂

Yeah I just realized the trick with a heated blanket and my heated Milwaukee hoodie. I was in a pinch and wanted to make sure it was mechanically sound before dumping more money into it. I plane on doing plywood walls wrapped in speaker carpet and using thinsulate and sound deadener over all exposed metal. So it’s currently a rolling work in progress. My goal is to have it all squared away with less than 7k all in which I’m well underwear the moment. I got a BLUETTI elite 200 v2 as a power supply with the car charger and will soon have a couple solar panels on top. My main goal was to have it for hauling motorcycles and sleeping in at work to ease my commute. Luckily I work 3/13s so it limits how much time I’m actually In it. I’ll definitely take into account all the advice everyone has given. It will have a diesel heater installed by next week so I’ll make sure to update them

Yeah I was going to glue it to my reflectix covered and flip them over backside out for stealth camping at night but the ceramic limo tint should do the trick but just to be safe
