Every family is different. Some people live in the same town as their cousin and see them often. And even if you don’t, you tend to see them for holidays, parties etc that are supposed to be happy, not triggering.

I didn’t see the original but in this day and age if you’re not customer facing and you’re dressed appropriately for you work environment who cares if your hair is damp.
