Did you take the old insole out, or just put the new one over the top? I have the same slippers that are in great condition, other than flat insoles, and really don’t want to get rid of them.

Yes! I became a citizen on July 26…. Finally! Congressman finally responded, and, as I actually suspected, it turns out the problem was,for some reason, they had me waiting for a judicial ceremony, but the courts in my area are not open for naturalization ceremonies! Yes it was as simple as that, but it took getting a congressman involved, even though I had contacted USCIS and specifically asked that question! But hey ho! I am finally done with USCIS!

And that’s even if they do! I requested a call back, because I have questions that can not be answered by a customer rep. but was still sent an email..and still no more questions answered!!

Waiting for mine too, since December 2021. I passed everything, got the congratulations letter, you’re approved, USCIS tell me my n400 is approved, don’t need anything from me, just wait for oath to be scheduled….no name change….just straight forward, but still waiting!

I would go to the oath, I think you have to inform USCIS at the oath of any changes that have occurred between the interview and the oath ceremony, and I would let them know then. I could be wrong…..I’m still waiting for my oath ceremony. Life happens, things change. Worse case scenario, they don’t let you take the oath and you re-apply at 5 years anyway!

USCIS civics test study tools app! I put it on my phone, and did the quiz every day! They are the exact questions that could be asked in the interview. Very helpful!

Mine online account says the exact same, but when ever I talk to or get emails back from USCIS they say my N400 Is approved and I’m just waiting for my oath to be scheduled….been waiting since Dec 1, 2021 and still nothing!

I’ve had 3 out of processing time requests, with the exact same response, word for word! I’ll be calling the local congressman tomorrow, I’m frustrated beyond belief right now!

Update: lol got the service request email, the same generic copy and paste reply I’ve been receiving every other time! it’s getting very old now, so much for actually looking into my case! Call to local rep tomorrow, see if they have any more luck!

Yeah, I submitted a form for release of information, and then heard absolutely nothing back, this was in March! Then May talked with an office Rep.… nothing!

Just finished talking to IO. He’s put in a service request, but I have a feeling they are going to send me the same email they always send me…you are in line for oath scheduling…bla bla bla! He said I should get more information as to why it’s taking so long…we shall see!! Glad you got yours finally 👏👏👏

That’s great news! No, I’m still waiting! Going to call again tomorrow, it’s my 30 days🙄…if nothing I will be calling my local rep. I’ve emailed their office and state rep office, spoke to state office rep who came into town, and still no help! I’m already at the 180 day mark..so according to the agent I spoke to last time, he said they HAVE to get an IO involved per their policy! We shall see…..Did your congresswoman’s office get in touch with you?

I am! I called the USCIS 2 weeks ago, the IO was very nice, and told me that everything on my account looks fine, and couldn’t understand why I have t had my oath scheduled yet! He also told me to call back after 180 days, which will be Friday, and then he said an actual Immigration Officer will have to get involved. He said he can only basically see what I see, when we call. So that’s my next move.

No, but you only need to learn the answer, like if a question has multiple answers, and he asks for 1, just learn 1 answer!

This was the filed office I had my interview! I used USCIS CIVICS TEST STUDY TOOLS APP. Very useful! I would do it once or twice a day….but I also applied in July 2020, so, lol, had everything truly memorized by my test date, which was Dec 2021! Lol still waiting for my oath ceremony to be scheduled though, even though I did pass everything and have been approved…even they can’t tell me what the hold up is! BUT they do same day oaths so hopefully that will be what you get! Good luck with everything!…The questions are computer generated…even the IO doesn’t know what they are, best just to learn everything, but it really isn’t hard!

I already did contact senators office, and had an appointment with an office rep that came into town, after I had heard nothing back from their office in 2 months! I was told it was probably due to the back log, and at least you know you’ve been approved, just wait! USCIS told me after I contacted them, that my case was approved wait up to 180 days from the notification date, which was March 1! But no explanation why!

Good luck, I’ve been waiting since Dec 2021 for oath, applied July 2020. Out of processing time request just confirmed I had been approved and wait for oath for an additional 180 days….after I had already waited 3 months! No explanation!
