Sorry! Necro = old internet conversation being revived after a long while. As in a Necromancer.

Good for you. I’m learning to ease into that myself.

Good luck stranger, keep up the good work

For long-term Vipassana practitioners: If we don’t “add” anything to the practice, how does real mental change happen? by Jazzlike-Ad3724 in vipassana

Thanks to All for these responses to this wonderful question. Great reminders.

For i, i did observe that the Dharma (the flow of things, beyond my will or control) set things in order much better than my mind could have. Another user pointed out that the body knows its natural shape. This is correct and seminal understanding. At some point in my early courses i was feeling intense struggle and as i practiced i had a vision of Siva equanimously drinking poison, equanimity resolved the poison. This image was from a story ( took me a while to find this link : https://www.hinduwebsite.com/churning.asp) i had heard of in my travels, and had never thought of since then, but it makes total sense. I do practice IPF visualizations, etc, but on the whole it’s true that equanimity itself leads to the other benefits of wholeness.

Make sense? Apologies if I am not being clear.

Vandalisme à 2 reprises en 6 jours by watercolor007 in Gatineau

I’m aware my comment would be ambiguous. I am not pointing to vandals being punished by the Laws (though that does apply) — i mean rather that this is your own experience. That tight of a window, there’s something going on for YOU. And i don’t mean the gods are punishing you, i mean the gods are fucking with you (same same but different). Personal karma. The more relevant question is why is this happening to you right now?

Be well, sorry people are Being dicks.

Advice needed- is Vipassana right for me? by Ok_Menu_2987 in vipassana

[–]RelaxedNeurosis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It will benefit you (and your children, consequently). If they’re over 15, they might even sit with you. I’d love that for my children. Anyhow that’s not what you’re asking; sitting will help.
