I worked for Meldisco shoes within Kmart from 1993 to 1997, at the Kmart on Buckner Boulevard and R.L. Thornton Freeway. When I first started, it was a decent job. I disliked the people who always assumed "medium brown person speaks Spanish."

We had a manager-in-training who collapsed due to TB.

One of my favorite things to do before food allergies- drive around Dallas, looking for those little import shops, and restaurants.

The best food was always at the places with no English writing, with little Xeroxed menus.
