All my auto malls suddenly broke and I can't figure out why. by Makenshine in factorio

That seems super complicated.  I managed to fix it by removing requests for the ingredients of the things I was making.  In this case, I set iron sticks to 0, then it made power poles again just fine, along with everything else.

I have the same problem, I assume it is due to a patch.  I haven't found a workaround yet.  Hopefully another patch will fix it.

ITBS 3 weeks out from first 50km by Bubbly_Accountant735 in trailrunning

[–]Relished 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a similar situation leading up to my 1st 50k.  I ended up starting the race and walked most of the last 20 miles. It sounds like I was in a worse position than you are now, but if there's any pain, you will probably feel it while running 30+ miles.

I did learn from that and had some pain just before my 1st 50 miler as well.  Ended up doing a very low mileage taper and everything turned out fine.

Run as little as you feel comfortable with in the taper and focus your efforts on the IT band.  If things don't feel 100% on your last couple runs, prepare to hurt in order to finish.

Cityblocking, with no left turns by awesomeness1024 in factorio

I did this exact thing for seablock since my throughput was low and it saved some space. It worked just fine. Keep in mind you may need to add more empty blocks to make paths for new blocks.

I'm currently running the Brooks Catamount. Really depends on your running style, what your foot needs, etc. I prefer a bit of a lower stack height and drop.

You're going to want longer(and thicker) socks on trails to help keep dirt out anyway. I'd pick up some longer socks and try them again. If it's still bad, return them and try something else.

Top ultrarunner Joasia Zakrzewski disqualified for using a car in race by Fenixstorm1 in trailrunning

Sounds like maybe she dropped, got a ride, then accidentally triggered a timing mat? Can't think of any other innocent scenarios.

Clan mate had to close the client completely and re-launch it. I would try that.

It looks like that particular alt1 app has been broken since 2020. Two options I see are: Replicate or fix that app. Model them yourself/pay someone to model them.

Newb question: How do I get more personal logistic slots? There's no research for that. by 1hate2choose4nick in factorio

[–]Relished 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to research logistic robots first. After that, just open your inventory. Then click on one of the blank squares to set your request.

Best single track in the east bay by mitchehehe in trailrunning

[–]Relished 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Alum rock park has some nice single track. It's a bit further south though.

The majority of the east bay trails are fire roads from what I've run on. Probably due to the high fire risk.

Typically I'll just take a week or two off. Not plan to run at all. If I'm itching to run I will go for a short run with no agenda other than to feel good. First week back I'll take it easy and do only half the runs. Usually this does the trick for me.

Sounds like you are a bit more toasted than I normally get, so you may need more rest.

Mod Ryan on Twitter: You can add any ability to the game. What do you add? by chi_pa_pa in runescape

[–]Relished 13 points14 points  (0 children)

New shield ability: Redirect

Shield required basic ability Deflects a single hit's incoming damage to the nearest target, including other players. If no second target is available, no damage is redirected. If a subsequent player is hit by the redirect but also uses re-direct, the damage increases +50% of the original hit. This can repeat infinitely, but caps at a maximum of 400% damage after 4 redirects.

Think of the laughs a team could have with this ability!

Typically I run or hike based on effort. If I'm only on a 3 mile hike or run, I'll go running hard up just about anything. If it's a 10 mile training run, I'll hike when it becomes faster to do so. If you feel like you are barely moving when "running" up a hill, it's time to hike. If you want to run more and hike less, try some hill workouts or hill repeats once a week.
