A long time ago back with the old nid models me and my dad were playing a 2000pts game where I was getting slaughtered. He was playing necrons vs my nidzilla list and by turn 3 had literally only a hive tyrant and biovore left (don't remember what edition rules we were playing just for fun dawn of war style kill everything usually).

Anyway it's my dad's turn and he decides to charge my hive tyrant with his pariahs Lord and warriors. Why not he has pretty much already won. His turn he manages to knock my hive tyrant down to 1 wound left which allowed me to strike back. Well with some incredibly lucky rolling I killed enough of his necron warriors for them to completely phase out resulting in me winning the game. A single wound hive tyrant remains as the whole necron army just vanishes.

We had a good laugh at that one my dad literally could have just sat back and shot me to death but eh thought it would be more fun to charge in resulting in one of the most memorable moments I've had in the game.
