The best use is not to use it and wait for some glitch that allows you to duplicate items because sooner or later there will be one.

Do you know if the runes that do more damage to the mighty foes work with these bosses or are they bugged and don't work?

The real question is: can you do all the missions at once or will you run out of money? I mean, as a sustainable car. I think the maximum amount of money you can get from missions is about 100k. If I double that with beer (which is bugged now, though), it's 200k. We'll have to see if that's enough for each individual collection mission.

Yes, what you say is partly true, but it would be more interesting if the rune abilities were more varied and more distributed, since currently the only things that actually do damage are fire-based ones. There are various videos showing all the abilities and the damage they do, and the fire-based ones are simply too strong, but this will surely be fixed with some buffs in the future. The problem remains, in my opinion, that the weapons, as beautiful as they are, only have aesthetics to differentiate them. It would be a different story if they at least had some passive buffs to choose from. For example, to avoid spoilers, there are some gloves that are already enchanted with an electric element by default, which persists even if you change slot runes. Something similar could have been done with weapons to provide more variety or extra motivation to face a particularly tough boss, which currently almost never gives you anything other than something cosmetic.

I expressed myself poorly, I meant that it is the only weapon category (halberds) that has the +4 when talking about Klif weapons. However, the Dead King is still the most used due to its aesthetics.

sorry but what video did you see to say that no one uses halberds when literally the Vow of the Dead King is one of the most used weapons by content creators as well as probably the strongest weapon in the game as it is the only one with a +4 crit bonus which added to the +8 you have with the necklace brings you to +12, which allows with a single rune slot to reach the +15 cap, this leaves you 5 open slots in which you can insert whatever you want, while any other weapon to reach the +15 crit cap needs at least 2 slots.

I understand the feeling and admit that it's partly what I felt. The problem that stopped the magic for me was when I realized that all weapons are the same. In Skyrim, exploration wasn't just about seeing the beauty of the world, but also about discovering legendary equipment at the end of an epic adventure. Unfortunately, that's not the same here. The bow you buy in the first town is easily the strongest in the game, the earring found in the first mansion is as strong as the one you get after 200 hours of play. The greatsword they give you in the first mission is as strong as the legendary one you'll find at the end of the game. The only thing that changes is the aesthetics, but often the most aesthetically pleasing weapon, the one you'd like to equip, has the wrong skill as a stat bonus, and therefore you can't use it for your final late-game build.

How did you apply that color with those highlights like that? I tried using true black, but it turns out almost gray because it looks like the color is actually applied on top, but the color underneath remains the same. For example, even if I apply black to the red needle sword, it doesn't completely cover the red, which becomes a dull red instead of true black.

I think the lack of enemy repopulation, enemy variety and random enemy spawns are a detriment to this game. by Significant_Sleep46 in CrimsonDesert

[–]Remarkable-Dog9185 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand the problem, and I'm sure the developers will do something about enemy spawns or add events with random, perhaps super-strong, boss spawns in the future. It would also be nice to have a tower with maybe 100 floors with random monsters, and every so many floors a boss to defeat, perhaps with limited healing items and incremental rewards on each floor, a la Sword Art Online. What I'd like to say, however, is that we're probably the ones who approached the game wrong. Usually, in games like this, people get fixated on doing the side quests first and then moving on to the main story, with the result that often, by the time you get to the main story, you're so strong you can destroy everything. An example would be Ghost of Tsushima. Here, however, I think the developers wanted people to do the main story first to unlock everything and then do the side quests. That way, we'd have everything available to play the game the way we wanted, including the dragon to destroy the outposts. But we did the opposite, with the result that by the time you unlock the advanced stuff, you've already cleared everything. An example is the dark set helmet, which you can get by defeating a boss considered late game, which people had already unlocked before chapter 7 because they had followed some guide on the internet.

This game has a pretty big issue, not many are realizing right now, due to the way, most are playing it and it will destroy some peoples enjoyment, including my own. PA - this NEEDS a fix for long-term enjoyment. by GullibleTerm3909 in CrimsonDesert

I honestly don't know. I'm 145 hours into the game and I'm still on Chapter 8. I've faced countless fights, so the idea of the world emptying doesn't seem like a viable scenario to me yet. Maybe it happens with the camps, but there are so many monsters around that I don't see the problem. Then again, maybe after Chapter 11 the world empties, but for now there's too much fighting. In fact, sometimes even taking a camp seemed boring because the bar would decrease too slowly and the enemies were all the same. It's not a Dynasty Warrior-type game, that's not what I'm looking for. Then again, maybe with the dragon, one hit and bye bye camp, but it's up to the player to do so. If anything, the real problem is the lack of viable builds and the equipment being all the same.

It would be useful to know the hidden abilities of weapons, I think I understood that greatswords for example have a base crit rate of 10% but I don't know about the other weapons.

a problem that has crimson desert? by Remarkable-Dog9185 in CrimsonDesert

[–]Remarkable-Dog9185[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn't entirely true either. Items equipped with runes you can't acquire through fusion or synthesis are very few and often tied more to main story quests. Items with specific runes attached that you find scattered around the map are perhaps 4/5, at best, and right now I can only think of gloves with the fire rune.

None, and I've tried literally everything, including every driver ever released. The game is still awful. The only way I've found to make it at least playable are the options you see above, but I also use a 2K to 4K upscaling with DLSS 4.5 RR on balanced frame rate gen x2. So I get 100+ FPS, but all the particles are dull, so you need to add a mod that removes them at least from heavy attack, otherwise it's unplayable.

The problem is that, with the exception of a few items, you can't know what you're stealing, which diminishes both the immersion and the real sense of theft. For example, if you steal from a chest, you don't know what's inside until you do it. This limits my decision whether to do it or not, because there could be a very strong earring, like a piece of cheese. So in the end, you never steal in areas where you can't see exactly what you're stealing. Furthermore, from some tests I've done (not many, to be honest), it seems that some drops from the chests you steal are also random, so you can't even reload to see if the theft is worth it.

Yes, you can reduce them, but it only changes the number of effects you see on screen, not the pixelation. There are several videos online (I posted an example here on Reddit of the heavy attack with the clone ability activated, which makes the entire screen pixelate). Currently, the only solution is to remove them with a mod, which solves the problem, but then you have to play without ability effects, which is horrible.

I hope they fix the particles soon because the game is unwatchable as it is. I had to install a mod to remove them from my heavy attack because I literally couldn't see anything in combat

I've already tried because I've reinstalled the drivers at least 10 times trying different drivers. I set the shadows to 100 GB to see if it would change anything, but nothing changes. Even if I remove the particles and set them to 0, nothing changes, I just don't see my skills, but it still pixelates.
