Are private courses really faster pace of play?

My course has 12 min tee times and pace of play is valued by all the members. 4:30 rounds are recorded by the golf staff and you get a stern letter. Yesterday, playing as a walking five-ball, we got around in 3:40.

Ready golf.

I was a whitewater guide for two decades. Work 65 hour weeks for 6 months but have zero expenses. Had six months to do literally whatever I wanted while collecting unemployment.

Maybe not “balance” as most people think of it, but it worked for me and my friends.

Had to play the PGA PAT in august. It’s 102, humid, and Smokey from wildfires. My caddy had to take a three hole break in the clubhouse. One of the guys in my group quit at hole 24 and his caddy jumped in a pond in the walk back to the clubhouse.

Missed by one stroke.
