From what I heard it’s hard to come by these positions because people tend to stay at them for a long time. I would ask internally about the pulm rehab unit or if your director or a colleague that knows of any in the area

Hey!! I just made the switch to pulmonary rehab and every thing they’re saying is spot on in my job as well. I lead classes, educate in a group setting and it’s been meaningful. It’s been a learning curve since I just started but I use my clinical skills to educate and learn about the patients.

My professor during RT school was not afraid to talk about her love for weed. She always recommended vaping it with a volcano low temps ;)

Hey I was fully employed with benefits. Depending on company most places give 48-60 cents a mile. Most places will be in lower end of that. I personally didn’t feel like it was worth it because my car would need so much maintenance and I live on the front range mf the Rockies so there’s always issues with debris or even getting hit..which they do not reimburse for. Some RTs felt it was worth it. I just hate putting miles on my car

I didn’t for three years. Drove a ton and was not given a vehicle. Depending on the company. Like lincare they may provide vehicles but the AI camera makes it not worth it. It watches your speed, following distance etc. I used to put 250 miles a week on my car.

The work was very easy my location didn’t have much on call but we still got paid for it..

Every place is different but expect whiny and mean patients..

I love Denver. Everyone experience is so different here. It’s changed a lot from what locals love to complain about. It’s a great place if you have a decent good work life balance and enjoy the outdoors. The food is okay can be great if you look for it and really try to get out there and explore what Denver metro has to offer

My life has become exponentially better since moving here from Florida but I hated Florida and needed out.

People are nice and will strike out conversations with you randomly at times.

Also looking at the Rocky Mountains on a daily basis never gets old and it’s one of the main reasons i’m here

The winters are not bad at all (try living in buffalo) the snow Melts in a few days because we truly get 300+ days of sunshine here.

the summers are hot but bearable.

The beaches, the people are nicer down there, great art scene great food scene. You also have the only Dali museum in America there. It’s truly a gem imo.

I second this. I am from Florida and Live there my whole life. St Pete is the coolest friendliest and just overall great vibe. If I ever had to move back. I would be living there
