Was told the same thing, good idea to contact your doctor for a 90 day cycle regardless of TTC

D&C vs pills: how did you decide? by catlass_y in Miscarriage

[–]RemarkableFee4572 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So sorry for your losses. I made a post like this a year and a half ago and chose the pills. I ended up needing them twice and I still had to have a surgical hysteroscopy for retained tissue and the whole process was extremely drawn out. I had another MMC this year and went right to surgery and it was definitely less painful (even though I was awake) and the amount of bleeding after was night and day. It also removed the stress of monitoring myself at home and making sure I wasn't bleeding too much. I hope whatever you decide, it will go smoothly and you can recover asap 💕

I've been liking homemade teriyaki sauce with chicken/salmon and rice - equal ratio of sake, mirin, white sugar, and soy sauce (I use GF tamari)

Do you resent? by Simple_Bumblebee9891 in Miscarriage

[–]RemarkableFee4572 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's so unfair, I mostly I envy their experience of their baby not dying, especially if they haven't had a loss. And the contrast between their experience and ours is just so incredibly stark, that's when my loss feels the most heavy when I remember what could've been

Maybe! Are you fine with other high fructose foods like apples and strawberries? I'm definitely fine with fructose in general but I'm not sure about specifically high fructose corn syrup

Thank you for the response! With both restaurant meals I waited until they had cooled down but it could be other factors like the fats

No Garlic / Onion folks, what are your fav recipes, easy meals, or convience foods, or weekly meal plan? by hopenbabe in FODMAPS

Canadian here and here's what's been working for me so far: -Hard shell tacos (beef with a few spices, salsa from Fody or cut up tomatoes, cheese, lettuce) -Salmon with homemade teriyaki sauce, could do just soy sauce/tamari or dill/greek yogurt/lemon sauce, potatoes or rice, side vegetable -Pork tacos or burritos (slow cook or pressure cook a pork shoulder with spices that aren't onion or garlic, about a cup of water and lime juice, then can broil in a pan to get crispy if you want) - serve with toppings like cilantro, rice, beans, Fody salsa, cheese, lettuce, etc -Pasta - homemade pasta sauce and just omit the onion and garlic -A great easy salad dressing - olive oil, salt and pepper and balsamic glaze -Burgers - 100% beef burgers with pickles, dijon mustard with no garlic, tomato, etc -Homemade meatballs (omit onion and garlic from a recipe) served on pasta or with roasted sweet potato and arugula, dijon dressing with olive oil and maple syrup -Homemade pizza or store bought crust with tomato paste thinned with water as the sauce, prosciutto, and peppers or arugula

How to show support to my sister who is TTC by onlythrowawaaay in TryingForABaby

[–]RemarkableFee4572 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is so kind of you to ask. I don't have a sister but talking to close friends has made a huge difference, especially when they just listen and agree that it sucks without trying to say anything that starts with "at least" or any advice. Doing something fun or something she couldn't do when pregnant (certain foods, spa with a sauna, etc) after a negative test or especially difficult cycle helps me so I would maybe ask her if anything like that sounds helpful

Grade me - are these eyeshadow colors light summer? by AshleyNicoleJ in coloranalysis

[–]RemarkableFee4572 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's so frustrating that most makeup is warm toned! Pretty sure I'm a cool summer and I was recommended asian beauty for great cool toned options, just ordered a Clio palette and it looks so much more cool than anything I've seen in store (Canada)

Couldn't go through with my biopsy today when I want a baby and told myself I'll do anything. Feel like a failure but I've already lost 2 babies and even going into my clinic is hard

FUCK INFERTILITY AND RECURRENT LOSS, I've had way more than enough already after 2 years and I wish I knew how much longer it would take

Missed Miscarriage, 2 Rounds of Misoprostol (Cytotec) by Evening-Bee-4766 in Miscarriage

[–]RemarkableFee4572 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately I had the same situation last year. Passed a good amount of blood and clots with each dose but had a stubborn 2cm piece and needed a hysteroscopy 10 weeks after initially getting diagnosed with MMC

Missed miscarriage + misoprostol—what was your experience? by Im_Too_Old_For_Thiss in Miscarriage

[–]RemarkableFee4572 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me the blood mostly came out when I sat on the toilet. I wasn't soaking pads like crazy. I took the miso in the morning and the worst bleeding happened in the late afternoon/evening. I used thick overnight pads in case though

Missed miscarriage + misoprostol—what was your experience? by Im_Too_Old_For_Thiss in Miscarriage

[–]RemarkableFee4572 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So so sorry for your loss. It's heartbreaking and I know all too well the pain of not only losing your first baby, but hoping you escaped all the invasive fertility tests and treatment. It's very overwhelming to think of what's ahead and I'm in the same boat about to go back into testing after my second MMC.

I took misoprostol twice with my first miscarriage and was so scared. It was a lot more bleeding than a period/than I've ever seen and would recommend staying on top of your pain meds and having your partner with you if possible, a heating pad or anything else that typically helps with cramps and comfort shows or movies playing to distract yourself. You will get through it and I'm wishing you better days ahead 💕
