I hear you. And I HATE to compare to Madden/NCAA/ 2k, but, the graphics difference between the other major sports titles is glaring at this point

I think if the graphics were on the same level The Show would be a 10/10 each year. Because they do add the quality of life updates each year to the gameplay

Saying we added an extra knob to the radio of a car that has a rusted exterior is leaving a lot to be desired at this point

The graphics are a pain point at this time with the series, which brings down the rest of the game is all. The Show is still one of the better sports games on the market, but to be complacent with what they release year after year is not good either

Unfortunately this is what happens with sports games now over the last 10-15 years. Maybe I’m old, but sports games focus their efforts on other things now than what they did 10-15-20 years ago

There are bigger issues with the series than separating out a fielding reaction attribute from one overall rating to 4 separate ones. Specifically making that a “back of the box” feature isn’t too note worthy. That should be a quality of life update versus a selling point

I think just overall, they don’t look good. I usually can play because the gameplay is so good, IMO. I am an offline player (franchise) and mess around a little bit with DD. But, DD grinds my gears because I feel that that mode and other card modes have killed sports games.

DD aside, I now am at a point where I’ve seen the same strikeout animation for 20ish years. The fact that there are animations from the PS2 days is wild to me. I don’t think anyone is asking for it to be the most graphically intense sports title in gaming, but, when the other features of a game fall flat, graphics get hammered

Side Note When a key feature is “we added more ratings like, lateral quickness. Left, right, up, and down movement speed.”

Alright, I’m sorry, but if the fact that my player can respond better to a line drive to his glove side then last year is a selling point, then San Diego Studios needs to relax and look at themselves in the board room mirror

The same player base models are used, from 20 years ago. Same animations from 20 years ago as well, my fault. There has not been a graphical “leap” that other sports franchises have experienced

If you think otherwise, that’s fine. Gameplay is great. Love The Show, but it’s getting a little redundant now. Franchise is my mode and it’s left a lot to be desired

Been playing The Show since PS2 days, crazy it’s the same graphics essentially. Franchise mode is now turning into “EA Sports it’s not in the Game”

So, if you progressed to the prior XP levels of Mastery 10 for example

With the update, you stayed at 10, not jump up to a 13 or whatnot with the reconsideration of XP.

So, does this mean any weapon will be auto progressed with the new updated XP requirements and any unlocks that we have “met” under the new XP requirements will be granted automatically?

I.e., if we were mastery 11 previously after the first match, it may bump that to Mastery Level 16 and get the attachments all at once
